Absolutely enjoyed your video. It brought back many good memories. We stayed there in May 2019. Loved it! Incredible location. It was a special trip for us. I do have to disagree about the diversity of sea life. We did a 2 tank dive and saw a lot of diversity! Some things we never see in Hawaii...and we have had many dives off of Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island. In the Maldives....We saw a school of Napoleon Wrasses. A few Clown Trigger fish. Several Anemone Fish, a Black lion fish, several black tip sharks, a silver tip stark, a large tuna, a few large lobsters. So I think there is more to see there diving. Unfortunately. You didn't see those during your dive. But agree about the Conrad. Loved every minute there.

I was waiting for this video Alvin! In your video there are a couple of drone shots you had no problem flying the drone? You mentioned that you booked a water villa but I think water villa comes with a small pool not a jacuzzi so they may have upgraded you to a superior water villa which comes with a jacuzzi. Wonderful review as always!

Thanks man! Sorry for the delay! The drone can only be flown at one of the beaches, near the security hut. As for the overwater villa, I believe it's just the standard one. The Conrad in the Maldives doesn't allow for room upgrades due to the nature of the resort, but I'll double check.

The saying goes, “If you have to ask - How much does it cost then .....”. So, how much did it cost? 😲😄 This trip has 💵💵💵💵💰💰💰💰signs just dripping off each scene in the video. But talk about a ‘Dream Vacation’ spot - Wow, this ranks up near the top of most lists I would think. The video was as ‘Cinematic’ as you described, partly by the natural island scenery but also by the content, and editing you did. Excellent and very Impressive work OMWTG! Thanks!

@@onemoreweektogo Thanks for the offer. I started my comment with that question just for chuckles but actually no, I don't want / need to know. Disneyland / Disney World, Hawaii and Japan are at the top of our current bucket list with Maldives or Tahiti slotted right behind those. If we do go to Maldives though, it will be a once in a lifetime thing and we'll probably do it just like you did in the video minus the scuba diving since we've never done that before. You only have one pass-through in life so if you can, you should. That's my philosophy and I'm sticking to it. 🤗 Cheers. 🥂

Great video. You could have added the recreiational activites like the watersports on the island. It could have been great if you went to swim with the whale shark. The area is famous for whale shark breeding.

Nope, no permit needed, just check with the resort staff where on the island it is allowed to fly.

The room rate was quite pricey, it came out to about 1100 USD per night. The Ithaa restaurant for lunch was around $200 USD per person.

just as a feedback. Watching you video is kind of stressfull. Your scence are to short. Its not possible to enjoy the scence in all its beauty. Its fancy style but not relaxing. But i like your content. Hotels,aircrafts etc
