Oct. 11, 1989: Conrail crew invites my father and me to ride along; turned out the engineer was the son of one of my father's old friends. The Conrail caboose (CR 22131) is ex- RDG 94108.
The WM 6573 crew was working south on the CSX CT&V line to Mineral City after crossing the Conrail Fort Wayne line at CP McKinley, which can be seen in my video titled "Conrail Interchange and Timken Alco S-4...etc." The CT&V line has been removed from CP Mckinley to 15 St. SE and from Mineral City. RJ Corman RR now operates the section seen in the video with the CSX train.
