UNIQUE RAIL MERCH: edotrains.com/
This is the final clip from our October 1996 trip to the heart of Conrail country. This edition is all maintenance of way, starting with former Lackawanna and New York Central plows at Rose Yard, Altoona.
Notably, the DL&W plow is derailed, as though it was shoved up this RIP track until the rear truck climbed over the outer rail and the conductor said "far enough.
We follow that with what has to be incredibly rare video of a PRR FM flat still in full MOW yellow and PRR number. The 3D-design wing of EDO Trains will be producting the stake-boards and the other details need to retrofit a FM flat into a wheel/idler car for a wreck derrick.
We close with video of another DL&W plow, this of the double-track variety, at Gang Mills Yard in Corning, NY.
Make sure to watch to the end for a sneak preview of our next rail video series, this time from 1983!
