When you have livestock guardian dogs you definitely see consciousness and free will in dogs.

Now if only we could define it! Do the dogs feel badly upon reflection if they did something not in the group interest?

@ they understand selfishness, and they repent! What more can I say. And this is with each other….not me reading into it. There are many signs of submission in the dog world.
