Iain, I love your interviews on conscioustv because you make them tell their stories, their biography. For me, this is why I like conscioustv so much. Other interviewers skip that and then it feels more like theories. Their biography make it more real and interesting. Keep up with the stories. 👍😃

Henry always strikes me as delightfully integrous, as well as dazzlingly awake. I find sage refuge in listening to his trauma sensitive path. Side note, Henry also looks like he's on the very verge of sharing the secret punchline to the greatest joke ever told, but never does. It's alarmingly fun to witness!

I was frequently hospitalised with severe eczema as a child (and didn't get it under control properly until I was in my 40s), reading this book gave me so much insight about the spiritual effects of that burden which I had never considered, what a breakthrough. Thank you Henry! And thank you Iain!

I have practiced Zen sitting and the Japanese martial art of Aikido. I have come to the conclusion that the way the Japanese sit (I mean the physical act) is cultural and not essential to the practice. It is engendered from birth and is influential in the development of the required muscles. Not only that but their way of sitting has been programmed into their epigenetics. There is no need for westerners to go through the torture of attempting full lotus. One can sit in a straight back chair where the concentration is of the essence and not the painful posture.

My thoughts this afternoon. Sadly we have been stuck in this mechanical materialistic view of ourselves and our world for so long that we have forgotten that we came from nature and we are a part of nature. When we again find the truth and the natural beauty of nature is when we will fine true peace and harmony with ourselves, our questions, and nature itself. When we find nature again we will find the true meaning of life and why we are here. Have a good day and clear skies everyone and go safely.

A total questioning is a total clarity, because if we get an answer we lose our questioning. The very seeking is a desire for something to be found, so seeking eventually has to drop completely, no outwards no inwards. Because how can one seek for that which he is, thats simply stupid, our minds are too ambitious to even make our own nature an ambition Enlightenment is not even seeing your nature, because again you got an answer. And if you get an answer your questioning-process stops, and if your questioning stops how can you ever get an answer? Intelligence can only work by questioning and if you get an answer it simply means that it has come to sleep, again. Again you are at a psychological ease.

Thank y'all. "Then people who only believe their experience of what they see and feel as true on account of their weak eyes and intellect must be convinced that the discoveries such as flying by aeroplanes, travelling by railways, driving in motor cars or hearing sound by radios are all nothing but an illusion. Thus in reality there being no distance at all where did you fly and where did you run? Is this not all due to the ignorance of the true state of things? If in reality, there was any distance in the universe, then no radio or any other powerful instrument could have made the sound heard nearer. Just see the sound which is heard through the instrumentality of radio! It is heard as spoken very near. Just see how near is the object which is seen through the instrumentality of a telescope! From all these it is proved that all things are without any distance. There is no distance whatever in anything. There is no difference in size or volume. In fact there is nothing like size or volume. Similarly things which appear to exist have no existence at all. The conclusion which we have shown here is only a fraction of one of the many principles contained in the Vedas. If only this one principle is wholly treated, then people will have altogether a different experience about the true state of things and will at once perceive what a huge difference there is in the knowledge and experience of a Jnani i.e. a person who has realised the Truth and in the knowledge experience of those who have not realised the Truth. But what is the use of explaining the said principles in full to persons who are wholly and solely after materialism? At present we would like to stop at the preliminary exposition only. This is however to give some idea about the infinite and sublime philosophy of the Vedas." -- from the sermon 'Golden Day or Perfection of Material Science' by Sri Siddharameshwar Maharaj (circa 1925)

Although the interviewer is very sweet, he seems to not know what to do with the person being interviewed. It seems to be very typical of these types of shows. They seem to be drawn to non duality guests, but have no idea how to approach the subject. The interviewer is coming from a place of identification as an individual self, seeking spiritual experience. The non duality person identifies as being the "all that is" and not the individual.
