I’m not a particularly spiritual person, but I do feel like I consecrate my pens through use with my journals, eventually they tend to receive unique sentimental names that get recorded in the back of my journals on each day that I use them. I generally only use my fountain pens for journals which are for mental health and also creativity so in that way they are specific purpose tools.

When I think about it, I have already consecrated many things, but I have not always taken all the steps firstly pencils (only the ones I wrote or drew poems with), they had their own purpose and their own locked place) then books. I arranged them on a shelf with glass doors, organised them and gemstones and other beautiful objects went in there too. And a little girl also clapped with joy and shouted bravo bravo when I opened the doors to this shelf. And now I collect tarot cards and keep most of them, like the books, on shelves with glass doors. And in the tarot community we have quite detailed rituals that are more or less known and it's pretty much exactly what you said. When you have a reading, you light candles or make sure the light is right, you usually have a cloth that you put on the table, partly to protect the cards from dirt, of course. You may also have something to burn incense or an oil. (Some even make sure that all 4 elements and spirit are present on the table, which is usually the case for me anyway: candle, my drink, wooden table for earth and the air anyway or the smell of the oil that I burn). 1b Then you take your deck out of the tarot bag. When you get the deck for the first time, you can clean it. Incense it with Palo Santo stick or incense sticks, or rub it with a suitable oil, put it in a school bath with essential oils and I also do other things, but I don't want to give that away. 3. instead of charging a deck, we can do a deck interview. Depending on the type of interview, this can also mean limiting it to one area of application. As I don't like to restrict my tarot decks in their application, I have made my own deck interview. In addition, with every application, the mission of the deck is of course the question that is asked of the deck. 4. the decks are often kept in their original packaging, but the favourite ones are kept in bags, or in wooden boxes or wrapped in cloths. I don't always clean decks because sometimes second hand decks still have good vibrations from their previous owners. However, if they smell of chemicals or manufacturing, I always clean them. You also oil the cards with your sweat, so by using them ;) and I sometimes crochet a bag for the cards, sometimes I sew or buy one. If a deck has had a lot of readings, you can tap on it to get rid of negative energy and thus reset the cards and somehow wake them up. The important thing is to shuffle the cards long enough and get into the mood/trance. But the most important thing is that my mood is right. I only read the cards when I feel like it. The second most important thing for me is often the location, which can also be outdoors - the energy has to be right or you do something to get it right, like last-minute cleaning, or you just clap your hands and laugh. When I'm at home reading for a friend over the Internet, it takes a while until I know which deck or decks... the ones I choose are usually exactly the right ones. :D When I read, I don't look at myself as a subject or the cards as an object... Rather, it's a triangle between me, the cards and the person I'm laying the cards for. - Sorry it was so long, I just found it so exciting 😊 Thanks for this video 🙏

I've always done intuitive consecration, really just based on what it felt was meaningful to the object. Like out in a full moon, or over the smoke of a charged candle. But I really learned something from this about how to store and revere them.

I do understand the need for pomp and a dervish of drama for consecrating items, but as someone with limited time to do all the things I need and want to do in a day, here is my stance: Items should hold a special place in the heart, yes, and be used for that purpose alone. However, the act of picking up an object gives it the purpose to which I am about to assign it. My focus on the item gives it energy which draws inside it from the universe. The first time might receive something more elaborate like an anointing. Rededication rituals can be performed at intervals too. Items on their own hold significant archetypal energy within the collective unconscious. This matter, however, requires much more attention when dealing with talismans, amulets, and egregores especially.

It's a ceremony they don't typically do until you've been part of the church for a little while, and even if you're born into it, not until you're an adult. Super interesting to consider in this light!

I have to be honest, in doing daily practice, (when I'm being properly disciplined if I'm going to be honest 😂) I haven't really done the ritual outfit thing. I'm kind of curious if the extra pomp would make a noticeable difference 🤔

It's an extra layer of magic. I think of practice as "as many layers as you can muster - the more the better, but let's be pragmatic about how much is sustainable or feasible at any given moment, and the bare minimum is better than nothing at all... but more is indeed better."

Hi, I know this might be off topic but what magickal book contains the shem hameforash and the 72 sigils. The only place I can find the is within the GOM books yet I'm looking for and historical book that contains the 72 sigils? Thanks

I believe the sigils were created by Robert Ambelain in La Caballe Pratique, dont word me on that. The angels appear in Sepher Raziel Hamelech (the translation I know of is by Stephen Savedow under the title "Sepher Rezial Hemelach), and then of course the Goetia of Dr Rudd, and recently the Grimoire of the 72 angels of the Shemhamephorash by Qirui Huo.

If you can buy a copy, The Grimoire of the 72 Angels of The Shemhamphorash, by Qirui Huo, Aeon Sophia Press, is good and contains different methods of connection, along with the different sigils. Taliesin McKnight has also done a lot of videos, he’s on KZbin and Facebook.

Done the poetry consecration, done like the commissioned consecration where you tell it what it will be, However I had initiated and had to doa consecration and I made a wand out of a beef bone and when I dressed it after consecration lights and the fan was flickering and acting funny
