A line that I wish had been included in the last scene, after the cheating partner was apologizing, & trying to repair the relationship he broke, would be Jordan saying, “If you hadn’t gotten caught, would you be trying to fix what’s been off with our relationship, or would you still be hooking up with Sam?” I think we all know the answer. Only sorry because he got caught. He wasn’t going to break it off with Sam. And, even if at some point he did, he wasn’t ever going to come clean to Jordan with it. Only sorry & wanting to fix things because he got caught.

The two lead actors do very good work with facial expression. I'm thinking it's the authenticity of Jordan's expression of pain. The little nuances he puts into it. Those expressions and gestures are convincing, so that when he says, "No, I loved you," you know it was the real thing.

Adultery does not "just happen". Loneliness does not justify adultery. I am over 70 and my lover/husband (he is old, too) has been overseas for 8 months, and neither of us cheats but calls one another daily. Adultery has consequences. Among the least consequence is the partner cheated on will never be able to trust the cheater. The cheating partner/lover will think he or she can get away with other times and the relationship will ultimately end. It is true to life, the same as monogamy in gay relationships is ebbing away for many but not for my husband and I. It would be good to see a strong relationship in a movie once, not all the garbage of "just happened" weak people. My husband and I have been married for twenty years, and again when marriage became legal. We went together 5 years before we married. Adultery never "just happens." "Loneliness" is no excuse.

Regardless of one's sexuality, it's impossible to love someone and cheat on them. Cheating is completely selfish and those who believe "it just happened " are lying to themselves and to you. It didn't mean anything is a joke because it meant enough for the cheater to risk everything they already had. Cheaters are never worth keeping unless you want to repeatedly have your heart broken. Sever the tie and find someone who respects you. I'm glad he did walk away. Once it's tarnished the trust is gone so there's no going back.

This hit hard, in my longest relationship, he cheated on me, in maybe the first 5 months of being exclusive. I confronted him about, it when I found out. He gaslit the shit out of me, made me feel bad for thinking that of him. After that, the relationship, became ownership, I let him walk all over me, it became abusive. He eventually admitted it about a year later, but I decided to stay, because I felt I had no place to go. He had completely isolated me from my family and friends (I went out with my brother one day to hang out, and the next day he tried to throw me out cause I was “plotting and planning against him”), made me feel like I needed him in order to get by. Eventually I broke the cycle (relationship was 2.5 years long), I left. And the line about betrayal in this hit raw, and hard. It encapsulated everything I felt at the time, but looking back it was not worth salvaging.

I was a lot like Jordan. But I realise now that people like Ty can't be monogamous. Even if they want to, someone like the colleague comes along and they are easily tempted. I think Ty is basically good, but this is his weakness. So a monogamous relationship with temptations all around would be difficult for Ty. For Jordan to try and make it work with Ty he would have to change the situation dramatically (work less or move somewhere else - a remote village) or end it. But I think he made the right decision to end it.

Just saw this. I think the acting was extremely believable, from everyone. Regarding the subject-I had a life coach once who said that anything can be overcome in a relationship (except violence and drug use), even cheating. I do not agree. Once trust is lost, it is completely lost. "I made a mistake", etc. is just not good enough. If the relationship had been important to Ty, he would have resisted. Yes, I know it happens and we are all human-I get that. Cheating is a choice and "sorry is just a word"-that was perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the slow motion running of Ty back to Jordan, with the music. I find it cliche-the ending music however, perfect. Really well done film.
@StefanoC11526 жыл бұрын
Not sure how to put this, but I think most people are living in a dream world. I blame it mostly on TV. As someone that has been with the same person for 36 years, I think I know just a bit. Life is a long long time. People are human and make mistakes. We have both made mistakes over the years. Doesn't make it right, but shit happens. To think you are going to meet someone and live happily ever after is not real. It is TV. He should have taken him back. If it happened again, then that is another story. People expect too much and are too quick to get divorced these days. I really don't mean this to be offensive, but my guess is you don't have a boyfriend. If you do, it probably will not last a lifetime, because people are human and make mistakes and need to be forgiven.

Relationships are hard and sometimes loving someone is not enough. It is interesting how unrealistic people’s expectations are. It takes maturity, changes in attitude and forgiveness to make it work. People change and consequently everything else changes as well. Sometimes an affair can be the best thing for a relationship, it all depends on how the couple looks at it.

My bf cheated on me, plus did a load of other stuff which was shocking... I was destroyed, he destroyed me and I gave him the tools to do it by loving him. He broke me, took the best pieces of me and left the broken shell behind. This video sums up how devastated I felt. I'm left with sleepless nights, nightmares and all because of Chris. Thank you for making this film it truly is a good film... thank u

Lone Wolf Sorry to hear that you had such a terrible experience, but apparently your ex partner had a NPD - Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It is a quite usual disorder, more prevelant among gays than the general population. After encountering a narcissist you are left broken and devastated on all levels - having flashbacks, nightmares, sleepless nights etc. Please learn as much as possible about this disorder. There are excellent sources on this subject on KZbin. The best channels are ones of Melanie Toni Evans and Richard Grannon. They saved my life literally. Keep strong. Hugs.

This is what happens when one person in a relationship invests more of themselves than the other. Considering Try was interested in the other guy for some time before he slept with him,he most definitely knew what he was going to be doing to their relationship. He never really had much faith in their relationship to begin with so he , in some way wanted it to end.

The only one that I feel for is the one that was cheated on. I understand that the other guy got lonely, but that's no excuse. He's just a selfish cheater. Let's be realistic - there are wives and partners who husbands are called away to war, but who would never cheat because they have a love that's true. Yes some would but the ones who truly love never would. This guy did not truly love his partner, so it was good that he found him out early. Good reddens as far as I'm concerned...

Personally speaking, I've never had the presence of mind to cheat on someone I love dearly. However, if someone cheats on me, then there is no discussion, no apologies that will make the situation better because trust is a huge factor, and once that level of trust is dismantled, there is no turning back because I can no longer trust or believe in that person, I simply tell them that we're done. I turn the page on that chapter and I move on. I won't allow myself to try and rekindle something that is obviously broken...
@ahnobi6 жыл бұрын
Dyana Bartley Exactly. It won't take 19 min to settle things. The cheat will be kicked out immediately.

2 things: Cheating is never justified especially for just “fun”. There didn’t seem to be much chemistry either way. The relationship looked kind of boring despite their affirmation to stay together. (Maybe it was bad acting)
@danrgn50783 жыл бұрын
The acting is sooo bad
@sallyhu50283 жыл бұрын
So if the relationship is "boring", then what? What's the point? All the lying and cheating would have been understandable if they weren't "just for fun"? How many multi-year relationships do you know that crackle with chemistry? At some point, companionship, being comfortable with the one you love, and friendship count as much - if not more - than sexual chemistry.

Yes, Being cheated on is a hurtful thing. But in the end, you must realize that all people are human and make mistakes. We must forgive. Everyone deserves a second chance, if you really love them. We need a part 2 for this short film.

It’s Miah Time Cheating is different from lying. All I wanna say is sometimes they lie for you. Like when they feel sick or like when they feel bad, they say I’m fine and they don’t want you to worry about them. Or maybe when you’re going on a date with him/her. And the date is pretty bad, but he/she would say it’s awesome and he/she likes it.
@itsmiahtime5 жыл бұрын
Hohahehi i i i that’s fine, but in my opinion when two people are in a relationship there should be no lying period. No matter the subject. Cheating is a major thing happening in this world, and it horrifies me. I have been on the cheating end and it’s one of the worst feelings in the world. To know that my boyfriend who supposedly loves me would not only talk to other guys online, but act on it. It’s disgusting
@okzoomer75375 жыл бұрын
It’s Miah Time yeah that’s true. I know how it feels like. It sucks.
