There used to be a garden center near my home. They had been open for years, and were very successful. The last time I visited, they were closing down because they had been told they had to spend $50,000 to make their lot handicap-accessible. Since they couldn't afford the upgrade, they had to close down. I'm not sure how many people who can't navigate a nursery are working in their garden, but it can't be many. In any case, being forced to do it by government regulation seems draconian.

"Handicapped" became just another tool of the Marxist Left. But it took spoiled and whiny citizens to uphold and advance it. It always comes down to that. The Marxists were smart enough to realize they had to encourage and create the sense of entitlement in average citizens first, or their legislation would struggle to be implemented. But once you corrupt the people with a self-centered sense of being owed something, get them to feel like they have a Constitutional right to feel comfortable anywhere they go [which is also ultimately at the expense of someone else] they will carry the demand for corruption forward all by themselves, by their constant complaining and demanding this and that at someone else's expense. We are now a fully fledged "boohoo look at poor little me" country - "someone should give me stuff and make everything easy for me" . I won't be even slightly surprised at any of the comments I get about how 'oppressive' life is, and how 'cold and heartless' I am. That has been the battle cry from the start of all the corruption. "boohoo you're a mean racist person and my life is hard. All because of you're unfair attitude that I should pull my own weight. Now give me stuff because you owe me".

Watching from New Zealand in 2019..3 years and a bit since the present President was elected, I wonder what sort of talk he'd give now. NZ, of course, does not have a formal Constitution but follows the convention of Common Law precedent. Just pray that by this time next year we will have voted out the present left-leaning , Labour Party led, coalition

Both National and Labour are committed to authoritarian rule that patronises the voters. Labour is confiscating guns, while National abolished Canterbury's democratically elected environmental council. When one party passes a deplorable law, the other party rarely overturns it when it comes to power. In 2007, Michael Cullen introduced a harsh tax on holdings of foreign investment funds. When National came to power in 2009, I expected them to weaken or abolish that tax. During the 9 years National was in power, it did not touch the Cullen tax.

While our current government, which I took a leap to the right and voted for-first Labour vote for a then 59yo-is controlled by people who place the interests of others ahead of those of its constuents it has nevertheless executed some old Labour Party policy, which I support. Both major parties support globalism and mass migration. I have never voted National, and will not even consider it with the current leader or the leader in waiting. If, however, a Donald Trump character were to appear I would jump at the opportunity. We have no alternatives to the big two. NZ First claimed its own agenda but failed on point one when Winstone Peters signed the UN Compact on Immigration. One reason I shifted right was NZF policy. Never again.

This speech was done before (Constitution violating) Red Flag Laws became as wide spread as they are. There is even talk of a national one. If ever there was a law that should be resisted this is one. It violates several parts of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. In my opinion if this becomes national law the day it is signed into law you should go get the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, put them in a pile and roast marsh mellows over the fire. Because that is how much value those hallowed documents, that people have died for, will have from then on. Any person who is operating under an oath to protect and defend the Constitution and proposes, supports, votes for, judges by, enforces at any level in any way one of these (Constitution violating) Red Flag Laws is in clear and obvious violation of that oath and should be reacted too and treated accordingly.

A "Constitutional Convention" is totally different from a "CONVENTION of the STATES". That man in the audience who bungled his question and ending up coming over as asking if a "Constitutional Convention" was a good idea certainly has now added to the burden of bringing the idea, to the public, of the STATES convening under Article V. Very frustrating for many in support of using a CONVENTION OF THE STATES. There is a genuine drive for a CONVENTION OF THE STATES to help save the country and it's Constitution and Mr. Murray does not seem to even be aware of the drive for a Convention of the STATES. The Agenda is a SET AGENDA for a Constitution of the STATES and cannot suddenly veer wildly off course . I have heard of the fear of a Convention "running wild" because of this misunderstanding. I was disappointed that Mr. Murray seemed unaware of this push for a Convention of the STATES, it's in the Constitution, Article V, and is there for these problems. Any good ideas and getting people together to combat the growing problem within the politics of the USA is urgently needed, but some coordination seems to be needed from what I see right here. I like Mr. Murray's general idea but I am writing this in 2019 and know that President Trump has now removed many of the EPA's nasty restrictions and rules and regulations put on by fiat during Obama's "reign". The political landscape has altered to some degree but the President seems to be battling on very much alone being attacked by both the Republicans, the Never Trumpers and of course the now Socialistic Democrat Party. Anything that can take the burden off the People and this President would be welcome. Good luck America.

In December 2017, Federal income taxes were reduced in a major way. We have yet to see one iota of reduced Federal spending. In 1993, Congress increased taxes in a major way. This paved the way to the large Federal surpluses of the 1996-2000 era.

True in Calvin Coolidge's time, but FDR took care of that. Defecit spending during WW2 left a debt that has increased steadily, or ballooned (LBJ, Carter, Reagan, Bush Jr, Obama), ever since, and, like a drug addict who no longer feels anything but the lack of a rush, the Feds have been stoking that defecit on a spending spree ever since. They've even invented a fantasy economics to justify it, Modern Monetary Theory. And, besides that endemic complete and utter irresponsibility, you have the fact that lowering taxes -- during the Kennedy administration & in Reagan's, revenues increased as more money was available for investment. Increasing taxes is a philosophical statement that business = bad, government = good. And both parties are on board. Trump may have made the last cut allowable against that entrenched regime. I hope I'm wrong about that.

Yep - a lot of people are confusing the two types of Conventions and it's easy to muddy the waters just as I saw during this Q&A session. Perhaps the man asking if a Constitutional Convention was a good idea was himself confused and meant a Convention of the STATES with a set Agenda - who knows but it's frustrating when even those supporting the idea cannot get the name straight. President Donald J. Trump has been removing much of the burden that the Obama reign put onto the People via the EPA and wherever else he could cause trouble and misery and disrupt honest business. Any good ideas, should be used to assist this President in his almost lone battle to cleanup the mess. Mr. Murray's ideas sound OK too.

After having watched the efforts of the Left/Globalists over the last 3 years, can you imagine how they'd go after individual state legislature members? Nothing would be off the table. Bribery, coercion by violence, nothing. I support the idea of getting the State legislatures together to find common cause and attempt a couple or even a single amendment to the Constitution but the most beneficial change would threaten the power in DC and they would unify to fight it by any means necessary. The last 3 years has caused me to realize that this is a system that cannot mend itself and the only choice left now is actual rebellion or submission. Sooner or later we will have to choose. The longer we wait, the more stark will be the cost.

I am a first time listener/ viewer to Mr. Murray and I am impressed with the methodical option to reclaiming at least in part the countering the advance of big Government as opposed to an outright Civil war or violent disobedience. Some of my talking points. The re-introduction of the old school study Civics and the real history, (being the truthful honest history) in relation to the Constitution in an attempt to learn from the mistakes and to learn how and why it is what it is. The complete separation of the Corporate/ Government conflict of interest system as we know it now ! As in relation to election funding, pay for play schemes, bid rigging and on and on ect. The implementation of randomly picked Grand Jury style oversight committees , over, the oversight committees, that are rotated out with notes to the replacements if in mid action, after, say a 4 month tour of civic duty (made up of volunteer Citizens or retirees with average IQ's and all walks of life) Simply put but, just think of the ramifications of this for the "peoples input and opinion and wisdom on the politicians and bureaucrats in at least having to walk a tighter line. I.E. all proposals, house/ senate bills, policy changes, proposed laws, hidden bills stopped in their tracks and being previewed with pro con debate with pro con lawyers arguing the merits or not. And several Juries to review the existing laws/ policies / regulations in order to, at least bring them into question if needed. Just a thought !

I agree whole heartedly! The government needs to get the heck out of our lives both personal and professional! It is redundant in a lot of cases. The market will usually take care of most things without involving the government! If someone doesn't want to bake a cake for a particular person for whatever reason, all the consumer has to do is go to the news, go online & post reviews on not only the business website but also on Twitter, Facebook, etc & that may put the business out & if nothing else, put so much pressure on the business that they correct their practices without a court case tying up the courts costing the taxpayers money they don't have to give to these things. We don't need the government to dictate morality, we, the people can do it much faster, more efficiently and with a greater impact!! There's ALWAYS another baker, it's as simple as that!!! As the saying goes," there's no need to make a federal case about it"! Of course there will always be those people that will see a way to get rich off of it by going to court, but if it is made clear that civil matters that don't involve loss of money greater than $200, or actual physical injury, will not be handled by the courts we will not need so many court houses, judges, baliffs, court reporters, clerks, etc thus costing governments whether local, state or federal a heck of a lot less to operate legalities allowing that money to either be budgeted elsewhere or better yet, not collected in the first place. I live just outside of a small city. There is a tiny former courthouse on one block, about a block away is another former courthouse, both now historical buildings . They replaced the last one which was quite sizeable with another one three stories high, five years later, they doubled it and then five years after that, they doubled it again!!! In 29yrs in this county, I have watched basically 4 three story buildings plus parking lots go up. The population has not increased anywhere near that much but, the number of court cases have. Most of them are what I call frivolous, meaning it was not necessary for them to be brought to the courts. The first court house was sufficient for a hundred years, the second one almost that long & the third, fourth & fifth each only 5yrs? Not to mention they built another 2 story building to handle property tax, car tags & ad velorum taxes, voter registration, voting & more that used to all be in that second courthouse until ad velorum taxes needed more room & it split off to a small building before going to the new one. What a waste of buildings, land & taxpayer dollars! The sheriff's department & county jail used to be in one small building but was replaced by a huge complex. Tells me that the courts & the jails are doing more business than local businesses are because there hasn't been as much building going on for private sector business as there has been for county business alone! It's also one of the most rural counties in the state of GA! The state & federal levels are much worse. There are too many laws that are merely in existence to put revenue in the local, state & federal coffers. People are too eager to sue each other rather than seeking an amicable answer between parties. There are far too many long drawn out divorce proceedings too. I have served on the county's jury 4 times, once the person disagreed with the amount he was paid for an accident which took one day to handle. The others were divorces that each took three or more days just to hear!! It's ridiculous. What ever happened to people divorcing amicably? You know, decide who gets what, attorneys draw up the paperwork & no one has a jury trial, just go before the judge to certify that the parties are in agreement, judge signs & away everyone goes in about 15 minutes!! It's ridiculous. I just used those things as examples I have seen with my own two eyes. There's a lot more I'm sure! But y'all get the gist of what I'm talking about. People need to take personal responsibility for their actions, be decent to each other or avoid each other & gossip them out of business like the old days!

Today, in 2020, we have neo-Marxists running the Democratic Party and majors and governors who condone civil unrest, violence, and lawlessness in a blatant attempt to destroy democratic processes and traditional American values, including the nuclear family, gender\sex identity, and the rule of law. Murray is discussing civil disobedience based on reason; the ultra-liberals are opposed to reason, logic, and facts. The train has already left the station. The only alternative left is forceful opposition to neo-Marxism in its many forms, and our elected officials are more interested in counting votes than in doing the right things.

Thank you- I think we need it for genuine 2nd Amendment concerns, even though the population will not likely accumulate 90% agreement. Still, an enumerated Right that sees increasing infringement on both State and Federal levels cries out for the degradation of all the others. We should not have to fear driving in another state, nor should we have to fear the increasing legal chaos, growing throughout the nation, that makes practicing the 2nd legally tenuous and crippling to our freedoms.

One hundred years ago Congress and the President at the time limited the Peoples House to 435 members. Can anyone tell me why 435 was picked? It is reported that Congress didn't want to deal with reapportionment so they froze it after two censuses were ignored. I can see that because one hundred years ago so much was happening and the future was looking bright. The Constitution gave the People representation of no more than 1 House member per 30,000 citizens yet today we are at 1 per 800,000 citizens. How do we reclaim our representation in the House? Why doesn't this guy talk about this? At today's population the House would be up to 10,000 members but with the internet we could get them out of DC. I would much rather pay for 10,000 reps that live in their districts in their homes than millions of bureaucrats in Washington DC. Do you realize the DC area is the richest in the nation.

I think that general welfare meant the health and well being of the people...in the sense that the conditions supported living. eg., everyone has access to clean water, unadulterated foods, peaceful communities. Our government is now working against the welfare of the people. Corporations and so called experts have been called in to do the things that corporations now do. eg., 5G, Geoengineering, Sonic testing under the sea, duping of barrels of radioactive waste into the sea, or continuing to allow rotting Nuclear plants to operate and leak...this effects the general welfare to all the people equally. The agency of the EPA has failed us miserably by giving an inordinate amount of power to the Corporations. The gentleman is very optimistic and does not seem to really understand what is boiling in an under cover world reality. There are individuals and Corporations who need stopped and in fact imprisonment and possibly the death penalty for multiple crimes against humanity. These Corporations have murdered far more than all the nations murderers added together

The defensive litigation strategy has promise. The logical application would be to broaden the scope to offensive litigation for individuals whom have had regulatory intervention lacking with the results of personal damages. When regulation is not applied for foreign interests , to the detriment of American property rights, the role of government is so blatant that a precedence of defense, on part of the government, demonstrates obviously the anti American conduct.

I guess America’s own established principles of the Foundation and Constitution to govern from learning experiences from mistakes together as well as from the frames of the definitions to understand thoroughly will help us to understand more quickly and do better things quickly. America’s democracy and kindness as the situation often anyone can be elected Governing leaderships after being here shortly a while either understand or not of America’s own established principles of laws to govern either by own views or visions or ideologies from unknown to America, or by America’s own established principles from learning experiences. Governing tasks are never easy, even 3 generations of Americans may less understand if not learn seriously. It won’t subject to anyone who is not interested to govern. Surely it can be very important to ones who want or like to govern, because it will subject to America’s greatness and Americans’ better life, freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of opportunities principles. Due to such reasons, govern by our country America’s own established principles of laws and recognition principles are important. Let’s forgive each other this time and learn together to understand better together and do better things quickly together again. Let’s don’t hate each other this time learn into the definitions line by line according to the definitions of the laws to understand why and how. Then reunite together again by sincerity, kindness and generosity forgiveness and kindness nature toward each other’s service and mistakes for this time and govern by laws quickly together afterward. I believe that govern by our country America’s own established laws are the duties by knowledge or by learning experiences from mistakes instead of governing by own views or willingness. Only the frames of the definitions of the laws will be able to put down ideologies for America’s greatness. Only our own learning experiences from mistakes will be able to correct mistakes quickly. Our passions, one time generosity mind and kindness nature will help us to forgive each other’s mistakes this time and unite together again as one nation under America’s own established principles for one America’s future greatness together to continue America’s greatness by America’s principles and patriotism and loyalty toward our country America’s greatness. I guess the much smaller Government there for a peaceful in order society to live and build our country America’s greatness as well as for functionality and circulation only as a Capitalism systems of the true freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of opportunities principles to Americans of all might be the Founding Fathers’ will by their life and death sacrifices for their future generations to enjoy as well as later immigrant Americans of all to enjoy without worrying.

Civil disobedience is NOT the only option. The Framers provided a Constitutional (legal) tool for We the People to correct the broken structure of federal government to eliminate the '4th branch' the administrative bureaucratic agencies by restoring the original meaning of the Commerce Clause (ONLY regulate SHIPPING between states to promote commerce), restore the original meaning (limiting federal SPENDING & taxation) of the General Welfare Clause. The tool is the second method of proposing amendments to the Constitution in Article V, an amendment-proposing convention of the States. The States asserting their sovereignty in this LEGAL process would restore power back to the States as it LIMITS federal power. Murray speaks of Colorado's legalization of marijuana only works because the executive branch under current administration does not enforce the Rule of Law. Do not underestimate the federal government as not all that powerful ... The courts are stacked against the people & the states, favoring the federal power and they have the big guns. "By the 5th article of the plan ... We may safely rely on the disposition of the State legislatures to erect barriers against the encroachments of the national authority." --Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 85 Article V, COS is the ONLY peaceful, Constitutionally legal solution that strikes at the core of the problem to restore our constitutional republic. The COS resolution to 1) Impose fiscal restraints (includes BBA, SPENDING & taxing LIMITATIONS) on federal government; 2) LIMIT power & jurisdiction of federal government; and 3) Impose term limits on federal officials (elected & unelected, including the judiciary) has already been adopted in 12 States ... 34 States are needed before the States can officially meet under Article V. conventionofstates.com

Actually the way the Uber rating system work's is you get matched with a driver close to your rating. So if you are a five star rider as rated by other driver's on rides you took then you will be sent the driver closest to that rating even if that driver isn't the closest to you. Moral of the story: if you are a low rated customer you will most likely end up with a low rated driver which mean's the car might be nasty or in a questionable state of repair. Take the time to rate your driver's, driver's take the time to rate your rider's. It takes all of a moment at the end of the ride.

I defeated the unlawful attempts of AT&T invasive technology inside my private home, (even prior to a court action), all by myself, because I understand the constitution and made that very crystal clear. The current fundamental social and economic conditions that mitigate against Charles' plan from working effectively are the same ones permeating the country prior to the Constitutional convention. Chief among them, and the primary motive force for the Convention, was the insolvency of many business entities, the lust for wealth through land accumulation, leveraged debt, and the persistent manipulation of the money value and supply. That's what created the Constitution that paved the way for this mess. Until the tendency to plunder others is curbed through monetary policy schemes and forcing the public to cover the failures (sound familiar?) through taxes, tariffs, debauching of the money, and private control of its supply, all attempts at changing the Constitution to what Charles erroneously believes is what the Founders intended, will fail. “Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation and I care not who makes the laws.” ---Mayer Anselm Rothschild The Founders didn't put in place a sufficient guard against this tinkering and the associated corruption that goes with it (Goldman Sachs, et al), likely because they couldn't see a way how, since they couldn't cease doing it individually themselves. While there are things to be learned from their failures in writing the Constitution, the problem of money control and debauching it has not been resolved since the time it was invented.
