Agreed. People really need to understand the difference between understanding you can live your way of life without impeding on others. Tolerance isn't acceptance. Disapproval of someone elses lifestyle is just a different form of hate. We all don't have to agree on everything to live cohesive. Wonderful view as always. Hope you have a Merry Christmas. Couldn't agree more, it's tiring to deal with people who can't fathom having a constructive conversation with "the other side", even if you're in the gray area. They anchor on their hate under the banner of their own selfish "justice", and even when they say they're willing to have a conversation, people like this will try to drag you down with them and will fight you until the last word. I can't anymore, like calm down, it doesn't need to be that serious 😂

What it means to be a Conservative in Canada and what it means in the united states could not be more different. In Canada like any other country you have religious fundamentalism and nationalism but not to the extent you have in the United States. Tell me if I am wrong but I believe in Canada things like public education and health care are considered basic human rights where in much of the United states education and health care are looked at with suspicion and hostility. IN much of the united states people are proud to be ignorant and think it makes them more patriotic.

Virtual hugs for the holidays. I've learned to identify dogma and label the "know-it-alls" as such, as those who have all the answers are usually the most dangerous people (nobody has all the answers). And, you'll then notice that those who feel they have all the answers (esp. to unanswerable questions) will say they're for "small government" but they'll also be the ones who want to impose their (ignorant) beliefs on others. Just look at capital punishment, this is the ultimate sign of "big government" yet many/most of the "small government" conservatives are all for it. Trans rights are a private matter between families and their medical professionals yet, again, they want to impose their weird, frankly disrespectful non-Christian views on others. Check out John Fugelsang, he's great at exposing the hypocrisy in today's "Christians". They act anything but Christian ! We're in danger, gurl. Keep fighting the good fight.

All people will never get along with all people. People have different levels of comprehension , different values, different personalities.... There are so many differences - ( biologically and culturally ), it makes it impossible for everyone to all come together. I think Google should use the data they've collected on everyone and show us who we're compatible with. That seems like a real possibility and wouldn't that be awesome?
