Well, i am not from eastern germany. Bin waschechter niedersachse. But a friend of mine had this obsession with old gdr-vehicles. He had 3 trabbis, 4 schwalbe and 2 s51. And another friend of mine had a simson duo. But that is almost 20 years ago now...

I had to think like a communist dictator for this, but: It's simple. Yes, everyone makes the same amount of money, and we'll need the people to be dependent on fuel. However, if the people are TOO dependent on fuel, they won't want to work. The car needs to be at least somewhat fuel efficient so the people can still work.

5:14 up to this point this car was designed by the top engineering board listening to every thing Stalin said and agreeing just to not die in Kyrgyzstan or Siberia, which most of the engineers that went there never died (everyone else did) so to see another car from that part of eastern europe building a commutrismo 1000 power level in a tough truck would be realistic. but in E. Germany the thing is though your engine would have been built to higher quality than the rest of eastern europe because they couldn’t get the German engineer out of the german people, which is the real reason the wall fell

Hey Consider, if you're on the open beta there is a known bug where the graphs are doing conversions multiple times and showing incorrect data, on the final page of engine design where it shows the specs you can see the real figures, hope this helps :)

I had driven the east german economy car (Trabant), and it was fun. 26 HP 2 stroke engine actually, car made of thin plastic, 4 speed manual. No problem travelling at 50 mph, tops at 60-70 depending on your courage...:)

I want the Japanese market to throw it's hat into the ring with a 0.4l boxer 4. 4k revs, 4 wheel drive with four seats. (Not necisarily 40hp, 4hp is fine though.) And like an offroad suspension, as though it was designed for offroad. Something to think about for the next season? Or Chinese if you want to keep the theme.

Here's an idea for a future car, if you ever have seen the movie "Blues Brothers" (No not the 2000 edition, the original version) they drive a 1974 dodge Monaco sedan ex police car, I think it'd be cool to see like a bluesmobile esque with the big V8 with dual 4 barrel carburetors that essentially screams American muscle sedan without the fuel crisis shit, also in spirit of the car have it black and white since it's a retired Illinois police car.
