Exactly on house cleaning you charge by the job 👍👍👍👍👍👍 never by the hr.

This is a really good video. I've been in business for 7 years now. I consider us to be successful because we make a good profit and maintain a consistent clientele. Besides my commercial contract switch are the same each week I still have trouble figuring out what to charge residential initial clean. I tend to go over rather than under because we are a very detailed cleaning company and we always go at least 30 minutes over the time that I ever expected. Our jobs are all over the place so the problem I have is giving free estimates before the job is booked. I don't have a lot of time to run around doing this. Your way is very reliable. If you just ask the customer some basic questions about their home you can get within a good range. My main thing is that I never tell a customer an exact price. I always leave room between 50 and $60. We charge $70 an hour for to cleaners. I never tell the customer that but I tried to estimate how much time I'll be in the house and give a price based on those numbers. Thanks for the video

good video pal i use to charge per hour rate with a minimum of 2 hours, but what i found is that sometimes i may have a slack day or not feeling to well and that 2 hours went to 2.5 hours but i never charged any more and my clients never cared, however i had times when i might have a great day and i get the job done in an 1 hour and a half and then the clients complained and said they should not have to pay for the 2 hours, that pissed me off. so now i charge per room with a minimum cost based on 2 hours but i wont charge an hourly rate so if the job works out to be under my base rate then i charge my base rate and if its over the base rate then i charge per room and this way i can take as long as i want with no complaints

Visit the home? That takes time and isn't a good idea because you should be able to give the customer a rough idea over the phone based on the description. Some jobs may require a personal visit but most do not. Imagine running back and forth over a large city giving estimates. You've spent time and gas and may still not get the job. There are better ways to get the job.
@Carlosalberto_10153 жыл бұрын
Don't forget that as important as is to find the best way to set a price for a house cleaning service as to have your cleaners happy with what they receive in exchange for their job. Their job, their hard work will be eventually what could take you to a successful cleaning business level. so; when you think on the price, think on your own expenses but more important; include their expenses too! on my 15 years experience on this; I have found that the only area more important to keep on mind; is not just make a profit for you, it's make it profitable to your cleaners. and eventually they will sweat the company t-shirt for you and will become loyal to your business idea. they literally will jump to work anytime you ask them, because their payroll is fair and you take care of them. and although it sounds crazy; that help you to keep a good standard prices for your clients but with that quality of service provided from the good cleaners, clients will pay you whatever (Fair) price you ask. Because you are providing quality instead speed. Speed is the most common mistakes on cleaning business.

But why would anybody charge 20$ a hour? My Minimum is 50$ idk why people who talk about this business can’t just give a flat rate price that they use. The business would be better if we all stocked around the same price rather then low balling yourself getting 20 bucks a hour. I’d say 50 bucks a hour with a 100 dollar minimum is fair. Anything lower is a waste of Time you can’t get anywhere with that.

It doesn't seem that a cleaner would make real money by charging $20/per hour. Two hours is still (in my opinion) hard work and to get only $40 doesn't seem worth it. I have a question: When there is a request for a move-out or move-in cleaning, is the oven and inside refrigerator always included? Thanks for the video
@LAStreetPreacher7 жыл бұрын
$40-$60 per hour seems fair for 2 cleaning persons. Average job might take 3 hours. Multiply that by 3x$50=$150

Hi do you have any videos that include in the estimates other cost like employees and cleaning supplies? I'm just starting out.
@ConsistentClean9 жыл бұрын
Baudica Rivera Rivera The short answer is that the above video assumes that you are including those costs in the rate you are charging. If you need help figuring out how much those costs should be let me know. Also, it's a good idea to charge as if you have employees before you actually have employees so you don't have to drastically raise your prices on your existing customers when you hire help.

hey! I have a job quote today....but it's 1675 square foot. and it'll have freshly painted walls. vacant because they want to sell,it,but the bathrooms and kitchen need deep cleaning. what would be your base price? I just did a 8 hour home 1900 square foot laundry included and I only got 100 dollars....I low ballet myself for sure.....I'm trying to get some customers and make an established set of customers and work with them, I don't like hourly so I usually do set prices. I'm thinking of making a 3 tier price range. general, tidy and deep clean. what do you think? thank you so much I'm so glad I found you!

I have an aunt that does professional house cleaning and she does not include laundry in her base price. You should definitely charge more for that or don't offer that service at all. It is time consuming and not worth it if you'll only get 20 or 30 dollars more.
