Most of theclips are from pvp but the sad thing is this also happens on pve too lmao even if there are no players, sometimes I'd just be grinding stars end then my screen freezes for 3-5sec and then I'd just be dying. Even dashing with Lahn would freeze and lag everything..

Disable Skill animation from the other players, otherwise it will stay unplayable. It will be still bad but better than with skills on

Few things I’ve done recently to get the game to play better on the PS5. First was getting fiber internet, then I bought a m.2 SSD, and lastly I set up a port forward for my ps5 to PlayStation network servers. I noticed a crazy noticeable difference in performance in RBF and group fights as a ninja player FPS is crucial to being able to play the class at its peak. I also decreased my in game camera vision to 60 this seems to help a great deal. I have minimal full on frame drops if you try any of these lmk if you have questions. ((Edit it is still absolutely insane that all of theses things are needed to get this game to run decently meanwhile PA continues to collect a check))

Yeah I did all this on the new Xbox and play on a pc monitor. Have a wired connection, port forwarding etc. No lag, frame drop, dc works smooth. It’s definitely something with your set up that’s causing that lag.

Yes... unfortunately the developers refuse to give us a performance mode that maintains a stable FPS rate. The best that can be done is to lower the character quality to minimum and keep the console in 1080p mode.

what is your internet connection? The only lag I get is when I change regions, map loading. Also even on PC I see people turn down graphic quality for better performance.

Yehh ngl even with ps5 its still bad. Wouldnt say unplayable ps4 is definitely unplayable. But the frame drops does get you killed more often than not. Its crazy how xbox doesnt have this issue tho

Xbox runs like full dog shit unless you live on the western half of North America, or have fiber internet available to you. PA thinks al nations are tiny little shitty places like South Korea where the furthest you are from the server is 250 miles. Not to mention the games predatory (the less often you play the better your RNG at enhancing) system is the most disrespectful thing they could've done to their long time players.

This video came up randomly in my feed. Its like it knows that I went to PC after having such a sh*t experience on console. I spent hella $$$ on the PS4 version. Was playing since the day it released on that platform. I got the PS5 and it was doing better than the PS4 but it wasnt that great of a performance upgrade to me. The worst part is the PVP aspect. Like what I'm seeing in your videos. You don't know what kills you sometimes. I couldn't take it anymore so I stopped playing on there and just recently went to PC. It runs sooo much smoother to me. I hate that I gotta start all over, but I'm enjoying the experience so much more. Not sure how much longer the games gonna last on console. Maybe the people who own black desert will allow a 1 time transfer over to PC for those who would like to continue playing with the progression they have. But who knows.. its an MMO and they always want that $$$.

i left console and now im invested over 20k$ usd into console, they PROMISED us, and I quote, we will be moving ALL content from console EXTREMELY FAST, unquote... thats what they replied in a review on xbox when someone asked if we would get everything console has...... We dont even get garmoth spawns like the other platforms, nor will we get T10 flying horse, two seater has been taken away, and they have the gull to leave the garmoth symbol on the map, let alone the two seater skill is still required for coursiers, the bastards wont even offer us an apology or refund. To add insult to injury, they still giving us wayyy more free stuff and wayy better rewards on pc. I have more on pc than i do on console, after the last 2 Balls, i only went back to check it out, with less than 100 hours on pc while over 1000 on console. Talk about a kick in the nutz. On PC you can pen a bs gear with a 140 stack o...o, their luck is way higher, on console I've never gotten even a duo from any chests or shataku boxes out of thousands, on pc i got over 15 pens that i can remember in less than 100

It looks like your playing on the original xbox and that may be the reason I have the xbox one X and mine graphics does not even look that terrible. Not only that but in those RBF clips you are overextending and you do not have the gear to do that if you are going to flank like that have the gear to one or 2 shot people don't try to do a full combo with CC extension in the enemy backline and think they are just going to watch you do that. Get in get a quick kill or two and retreat to your team. That what I do and I perform just fine. I do feel that optimization on the original xbox could be better though.

@@readyness really? I have zero problems on mine. Do you have the 4k setting on? Sadly the BDO app on ps5 is the ps4verion and the 4k is just a filler, but the 4k drops frames and causes bad lag too
