Yh the symbolism makes alot sense when you think about it. I'd add that the old gen consoles could be sunken ships, anita sarkeesian is a sea monster trying to sink the consoles, and all the consoles in the PS4 and Xbox One line up (PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro, Xbox One S and Xbox One X) are like the fleets of ships. I definitely think about this too much.

Tbh nintendo and Microsoft sort of worked together that E3, but i still love the sudden turnaround of nintendo failing to catch up and now suddenly successfully raiding the Xbox camp. This series is an amazing time capsule of that console era lol
