I’ve been living for all the videos :) so fun to watch!! Also nothing like a collection video, I still have my original (got drift twice) and then an oled, the difference is crazy but sometimes I love my AC island on the original cause it feels cozier and less intense graphics; I also have my eyes on the Zelda switch lite in September 👀 Nintendo taking all our monies 😂

You can change the graphics on the oled to closer match the original! I think it’s a setting to turn down the vivid colors which helps imo 🤍

First, love your selection of games! Now, I personally HATE joy-cons! I have 3 pro controllers that I switch between. Also, Link’s Awakening on the Switch is one the best remakes so far! I loved this game on the original Game Boy, but now that it’s more 3D (and in color), I love it!

But like playing, for example, Mortal Kombat physically doesn't make sense to me. Like Animal Crossing or Link's Awakening does make sense. I do have games digital which I regret not buying physical because I was not thinking at the time. I want to see your digital games, so I can maybe buy those games as well. I have goofy games like Goat, Bee or Thief Simulator. I have a lot of digital games

My first switch was the turquoise switch lite since it launched. I got it because I wanted to play Fire emblem Three houses and Yugioh legacy of the duelist. And after I started my job in 2023 I got v2 switch with the neon joycons. In 2024 I caved in and got the coral lite ACNH edition.

Super Mario Maker 2 is definitely a must have for your son(not sure if you mentioned having it digitally. My son played it when he was 5 and seeing the evolution of his level creating every year(he is 7 now) is awesome to see. Big Brain Academy is a good one too. My son started that one when he was 6 and he is trying to get a gold medal on each mini game but has 1 left which even I can't help and it is telling time.lol But yeah my kid loves Mario Odyssey as well but I can't say the same unfortunately.

Love this! I have had 2 switches. I never even wanted a switch when it first came out. When the switch lite came out and it was all colorful, it made me want one. I was never going to get one until there were enough games that made me want to get it. So total I have only had the turquoise switch lite and the Animal Crossing switch. I ended up giving my niece who is 13 now the switch lite. I have a total of about 15 games I think. ALL digital. I prefer digital because I don't have to get up and switch them out so often. And I can't imagine having both physical and digital. For me it's a waste of money and that's only for me because I have the game. Lol I wish I could have both but it's just too expensive, so I prefer digital over physical. I either want all digital or all physical. The one game I bought before the switch came in was Lego Harry Potter because it was on sell when I got it that I didn't want to wait until the switch came in. Lol And I think Animal Crossing was physical as well, but once I got the Animal Crossing switch and it came with a digital one, I gave the physical copy to my niece. Lol Curious, but how old are you? I'm 33 and still play video games!😂

Yeah 3D All Stars... On eShop until March 31, 2021 As physical copy until the same day or as long as the retail stores got it stock. The biggest complain about 3D All Stars: "Galaxy 2 is missing"

I feel the same way about the Pokemon games, Sword/Shield weren't it for me but boy Arceus was. I hope they go back to that style/gameplay because it was perfect. Otherwise the old school Pokemon games are still the best IMO

I wouldn't feel bad about not getting into the switch era Pokémon mainline games. There a hit and miss for some people. While I've played all the pokemon games, I almost tapped out on pkmn Violet because of its performance and bug issues.
