placing wallpaper on the outside of the house is a GAME CHANGER also, idk how i've been earning them but it seems that by just playing the game, chests pop up with rewards (different than the treasures found in the world) and a couple have had wallpapers i've never seen before! like not in the shops or anything 🥰

Many chests you fish up will have furniture items or wall/floor designs in them. Also most of the mystery discoveries like Prismbeard's diaries, the Dragon and Phoenix miniatures also reward floor/wall designs.

In the beginning of the game various NPC characters meet you after maybe completing quests or gifting them, etc and they will give you wallpaper!

This was before they added that with the starstone update but I figured out where the mystery wallpaper came from! It was cause I interacted with all the incense shrines in the world, neat right? @@emmeison3028

I fully unlocked the entire plot of our home area. and now I am working on cluttering the entire outside area, there are chests stacked high and off centered with clutter stuck in everywhere. A real Harry Potter area lol. Thank you so much for the great tips. I never thought about the fence. Your tent clutter is awesome btw.

You can use the 'H' overhead home editor view to change the style of your home's windows (per wall) by going into overhead view, then clicking on a room's icon in the middle and then choosing a wall. Either no windows at all, or 4 (iirc) shapes of windows including a double-width version. Also note that when crafting furniture, a small green checkmark appears on recipes you've built, and you only earn a piece from crafting them the first time. So to keep unlocking recipes, make sure you're crafting just furniture without a checkmark. ;) Hopefully in the future, once the crafting list starts getting HUGE, we'll be able to do handy things like sorting the lists by material , costs, value, etc.... and be able to trade furniture too ;)

First of all, thank you for the fence ideas, I spent far to long crafting different sets trying to unlock another type of fence before I gave up and started googling. Second of all, thank you for pointing out the fact that you can get rid of the grid when placing items down. I hadn't noticed it yet and there's no telling when I might have without being prompted. Been loving this game so far, gonna be starting to decorate and building up the plot here very soon so thanks for all the tips!

It was fun to see how you've decorated your space so far, please do keep us updated as you add more. I love the fencing ideas and will be experimenting with the fencing to see what I can come up with that suits my space. I've subbed so keep those ideas coming! Oh, and wouldn't it be lovely if our characters could sit in those chairs and lie in the beds? I don't know how hard that would be to code in, but it would be nice to get comfy in our new little homes.

Thank you! Had no idea you could do that with the fences and clutter. Dont forget to play with the modification bench too, can have all new color schemes for your place! Some other tips: Click H to bring up the overhead view. From here you can change your windows on your house (it will remove wall decor to your inventory if the wider windows overlap them). Also, you can have up to 3 instances of your plot to switch between- the dropdown menu on the top that say Default Slot, you can change this to New Slot and that is a free 2nd instance of a blank plot to play with, and you can change between them at will. For 50,000, you can have a third one. All instances share the crafting station limit unfortunately, but the building limit is fresh. :)

You can add max chest on them as well and they all link and is a cheeky way to have even more storage .

But you can place chests on your 2nd / 3rd instance and double/tripple your storage if you dont want to upgrade your chests 🥰

The fact that the treasure chests you loot let you keep the empty chest and add it as clutter was just the greatest thing. More clutter!! I did NOT know about the wallpaper on the outside - this changes everything!!! Great pick up!!

I have the problem that I cannot delete my tent. It says everything has to be removed from the interior, however it is already empty. There is only one lamp inside, I am not sure if I have to remove that too (on ceiling), but regardless how close I come to it, there is no option to remove it. Did anybody had similar problems?

Put one or two chests under the lamp and use them as stairs. Then use Ctrl and after that "g" for removing the lamp. Maybe that helps
