WB. $199-299 is the sweet spot for me. I cant justify spending more on an Arcade1up cab unless its SUPER special (Unique control scheme, premium monitor, seat, etc...). Luckily I got an NBA Jam 4 player from Walmart for under $200 a couple years back

I would call this a Deluxe Lite version! A1up is double dipping. They are doing a cost reduction but keeping the same price and then increasing the price of the original Deluxe and the XL by $100 each. You can't have it both ways. And the lack of sales will teach the young executives this lesson. A true executive with real life experience would not make this mistake.

Glad you're back! Of course, this is probably not the most exciting release to do it with, but I guess it's better than the ABSOLUTE NOTHING they've been doing for the past 2 or 3 months. Either way, it's good to have a 2-player version of this title, but they're abour a year-and-a-half late and 3 or 4 cabinets too far into NBA Jam overload for it to really matter.

I got the cabinet. Build quality is the same as the deluxe cabinets ( same wood thickness ). Marquee is rich and no light bleed. And most important, it is quite stable! This cabinet is NOT the same size as the casinocade! And no, the "foot" on the bottom does not get in the way at all because it is the same width and depth as the control deck. You will not notice it. Here are the measurements compared to my two other cabinets I took with a tape measure: Street Fighter II CE HS 5 Deluxe 19” wide 20.5" deep from back to front. NBA Jam Deluxe 2-Player 18.5”. Wide 18.5”. Deep from back to front of deck. The bottom depth is equal to deck depth and width. It is quite stable and is only about 2" shorter than the Street Fighter II CE HS 5 Deluxe cabinet measured front to back at the very bottom. Casinocade 17.25 deep at the bottom, from back to front. 13.75”. Deep from front to back at the middle of cabinet. So these Casinocade comparisons are straight up wrong. This cabinet is the SAME HEIGHT as NFL Blitz which has a riser! ...and the seam you were looking for is about 1 half inch above the white NBA logo.

I’m not gonna lie I wanted it to player and after I sold my foreplay I kind of missed it so this is one Cab. I probably will be picking up for the last time. The foreplay cabinets take up too much space and are not really enough for 4 players anyway. .

I actually don't think that the reduction is depth is completely a cost-cutting measure... sure, I suppose it's cheaper because there's less material and maybe it costs less to ship because it isn't as heavy, but I think it's really just a space-saving form factor change more than anything. Given the components inside, these don't NEED to be close to two feet deep. Feels to me like it's targeting a general consumer who may not want these to take up any more space than necessary, which is also reflected in the two-player aspect of it as well.

You know, I think I have figured it out. I've seen this before with another company back in the 80s. The CEO and a bunch of employees leave the company and go start their own company meanwhile the main company Arcade 1 up runs without them for a few years and begins to make crappy products that no one buys and later will be on the brink of bankruptcy. Arcade 1 Up will then agree to buy the company run by its former CEO and in 5 years Arcade 1 Up will be making new fresh arcades again with Scott and John D back at the helm. Just got to wait guys. History will repeat itself.

I know people are saying why come out with it now but I sold my foreplay cabinets because they were stupid. They were not big enough for four players took up too much space but I really did miss this cabinet so it’s perfect and I’m not gonna buy something over 50 or $100 For 99 is a decent price for a deluxe cab in my opinion. Can I wait and maybe get it for 399 maybe but $100 is not gonna make a break it. It’s the fact that I actually like.
