Nice vid! Although I haven't played either game, your final decision sounds fair. One game has broken controls, while the other (although not spectacular) is utterly playable. Makes sense to me! That being said, I am utterly BEWILDERED that Sega won graphics. In particular, the point that the Genesis version 'looks more like the movie' seems entirely inaccurate to me. The SNES Beast looks like the character from the movie; the Genesis Beast looks like a cross between Godzilla and a biscuit. And lest I seem biased: When the video started, I thought 'Oh crap, the Genesis looks WAY better' - and then I realized that I had them mixed up!! I'd take the little Beast over the big Biscuit-Beast any day.

If they did power rangers again I would recommend Mighty Morphing Power Rangers The Fighting Edition (SNES) vs Mighty Morphing Power Rangers (Genesis) as both are fighting games. SNES also had a beat-em Power Rangers game, but the Genesis only had the previous mentioned and the movie game as far as I can recall.

BEST.PUPPETS.EVER!!! LMAO!! I also love what they turned into at the end of the episode, too! At first the beans seemed so random, but it all came together in the end. Good Job writing this one, man! As for the games, I've honestly never played either one. I mostly played the NES Disney games (as well as Aladdin on Genesis). Not sure what to think about these. Just from seeing the gameplay, I think I might pass on them for awhile. Anyway, keep up the good work guys!

I gotta say....visually the SNES game is really fantastic. The genesis version just can't compare IMO. Beast looks way more faithful on the SNES. Genesis looks like it controls smoother though. This was a fun video guys :)

Finally a new video guys! ^_^ I agree, the Genesis version is the better choice but it's sad you forgot to mention the beautiful animations on the Genesis. The only thing i still don't get is, why you guys are using (for a comparison video) the inferior Genesis 2? It's common knowledge, that the Genesis/Mega Drive (1) had the better sound chip and even the video signal is better. It would be way more fair, if you compare Genesis 1 VS SNES 1 OR AT LEAST Genesis 2 VS SNES Jr. BTW: Don't forget the Virtua Racing VS Stunt Race FX video. I really want to see this!

*WARNING* In-cuming heavy sarcasm: I have a problem with the "pupets" (?), since the Sega Genesis was a radical 16-bit powerhouse with cool attitude oriented to Males with balls of steel (like Conan in the old Comic Books) and Females with ovaries made of stone (like Taarna from the movie Heavy Metal), it should had been voice over by Linda Hamilton. The SNES on the other hand is oriented to the kids who where mostly cannon foder for the bullyes at the school or those who cannot understand the music of Michael Jackson, so it shold be voice over by... hum... well, just... just put the baby Mario crying (Yoshi's "Motherfucking" Island) in a loop and Bob's your uncle :) Other than that, this episode was perfect! 10/10 Metacritic.

big bad beef daddy watch again his Snes vs Sega video. He gives the beat em up category to Final Fight (showing all 3 games)…but only shows footage from SOR1. Like, seriously? If you haven't played or don't own the other games, you should not voice your opinion nor include it on a video. I used to be a snes fanboy, but I have learnt to appreciate the Genesis besides the sonics games I played as a child. It has many jewels that NO ONE mentions. Good stuff guys. I kind of disagree with the cutscene thing because the animated cutscenes just used the in-game sprites, where the Sega ones may have been stills, but they were hand draw, fairly detailed stills reminiscent of the movie (sometimes). Other than that, another killer vid. =)

Finally an episode where I completely disagree with you guys. The SNES version is FAR better with lots of variety, colors, music and intense boss fights. Just has an erie and dark feel as you play. Just my personal opinion though I guess, just like yours.

13:51 In fact, I cheated on Retroarch emu by Inf Roars...and the game was still INCREDIBLY hard! The SNES version starts fun, but after the honeymoon effect, it starts to go stale with later level themes...and required less cheating on Retroarch emu.

I haven't finished watching yet, but Super Nintendo looked WAY better than the Sega version. The Beast actually looks like the Beast, and Belle looks more like Belle than the Sega version. Sega actually looked TOO cartoony, to the point of ugliness.
