And honestly they sound even better in person. Thanks for helping me decide my cymbals! Getting a set for church

Dave Turncrantz from Russian Circles uses the Xist 15" Hats, 22" ride and (2) 24" rides. He's used just those for a few years now.

Hi there, so pleased to hear your cymbals. I have with the hard case the set if Brilliant that's the model... Istanbul xist Agop cymbals 14 inch hats, 16 and 18 inch crash, and 20 inch ride.. I've had them about 6 years.. They are really great.. They Came with my Pearl Export kit which I bought in Essex County near London UK where I live.. Drum company at Colchester called SOUND ATTAK Best wishes Colin Reynolds

Got 14" hihat, 16" crash and 20" ride in the Brilliant series. Had these for probably 12-14 years. Lol. Love them. But, the time has come to upgrade, so I'm thinking of a 17" crash to have some more room. Great vjdeo and awesome playing 🙌

Haha, I was expecting a pair of 15” hats when you stated the sizes of the other cymbals. I’ve got a 22” Natural Crash that goes really well with my 22” Dream Bliss Ride.

I Like the Xist range and this video is a nice candid example of them. We need more like this when trying to choose cymbals, video sound gets so dressed up for sales. Nice drumming. There are no drum shops nearby me to try things. I think Xist are great on tone and price, clear and functional no nonsense cymbals. If I need something I always have a look round, usually Paiste or Zildjian and seem to end up back with Xist. I bought a Paiste 900 20" ride and sent it back, after a few hits it sounded like Big Ben was building up underneath it! When I see descriptions like, "musical, dark, complex", I now assume discordant and odd sounding. I have an Xist 17" brilliant crash and a 16" ION crash that sound great, got a 2nd hand 16" power crash on the way from ebay that I hope maintains the quality. Regarding Random Viking's comment below, both of my cymbals have a little stamp that says, "Handmade in Turkey", around a crescent and star with the brothers names underneath. Big up for the, "base", line.

Ckeck out Russian Circles playing live, the drummer uses Xist (15' hi-hat, 20' crash and 22' rides). Really deep and loud sound

I can’t find anyone who owns the “raw” xist ride! Can any comment on how it compares to the other xist rides (dry dark, natural, brilliant, power)? Besides the Dry Dark, would the raw be the driest they offer in the xist line? Thanks to anyone who can help!

I wish to play the drums this way. Also, how did you set up your floor tom? Muffling? Just a low tuning with pinstripe heads? it v gud
