There was technically room on the door to fit two people, but with the weight difference and the balance of the door they couldn't both be on the door. It would've tipped over. I think there's even a deleted scene showing this. Cameron knew exactly what he was doing filming this movie.

what if they would lay crisscross over each other?
@maddiet6466 Жыл бұрын
@@hiitsme6214it would’ve sank and they’d both freeze
@singingwolf8997 Жыл бұрын
So Mythbusters DID determine that there was technically enough room on the door for both Rose and Jack, BUT they would have had to balance their weight just right, and Rose would have had to think to remove her life vest and manage to float it under the door to give them enough buoyancy to stay far enough out of the water to avoid hypothermia. So while they technically COULD have both survived, the odds of them figuring it out fast enough in freezing conditions after just surviving a sinking ship were almost nonexistent.
@alibingham9158 Жыл бұрын
Also the producer of the movie, he said he didn't want Jack to survive so he made him look like he's sleeping peacefully and he's not... sadly the titanic movie is based off the true event that happened 110 years ago, don't know if you knew that 😅... shane saying it's not upsets me cause all those people died because of a selfish rich owner of the ship wanted to save so many people that are worth saving, even John Jacob aster passed away, his wife.and their baby lived and he didn't... also Jack and Rose aren't real well.they are but they never met on the ship when that happened irl

The star on the tootsie pop wrapper meant you got a free one when I was a kid! It was a thing in Oregon growing up, for sure and all of us kids knew it! I’m 30 now, so this was in the early 2000’s when I was a kid and Every single time we got a star we would be so stoked and run down the street to our local market it was called “Steve’s market” the owners name was Steve lol but plaid pantry was close to us and they did it too those were the closest stores to us like walking distance so we would book it down and get a free one! EVERY single time. I’m shook.

Same, and I grew up in Michigan. We would go to the corner store to get our free tootsie pop.

Yes same! We live in South Dakota, my grandma lived a few blocks away from a gas station so me and my cousins would always walk there, buy them, see the star and go back for our free ones! I swear one time we went back like 3 or 4 times in one day cuz we kept getting the star wrappers lmao

I love the conversation about different versions of yourself in different situations. It is funny how my friends get a completely different side of me then my family, the aunties and uncles as I call them in my culture lol. But that’s also why I appreciate the content you’re currently putting out, the series, conspiracy vids because I do think that’s more you then the old skits you made ever were, as someone who doesn’t know you offline hehe. Lots of love ❤️❤️

I laughed so hard at the graphic of Jerid buying a banana at 7/11 that I choked on my bagel bite 😅

BTW Shane, this is by FAR my favorite podcast. You all are so funny, so likeable, so different from one another. Most of all, you guys are all good people. I know I don't know you all in person, but I am a very good judge of character. It's really my only talent lol. Also, I have been watching Shane for... my gosh, since like 2006. Never doubted you for a second Shane. Dark humor is meant to give that shock value, while not taking itself too seriously. I have found that most people that have dark humor, are actually the best kind of people in their real lives. Especially when a lot of them use dark humor towards a really awful human being. Take the iDubbs and Tana situation as a great example. Tana is not a good person, and she cares only for herself. Watching iDubbs mess with her, was insanely entertaining. You know, the people who think real dark thoughts, but seem like good people on the outside, and don't use dark humor...Those are the ones that are usually awful people. They hide it as much as possible. Sorry for rambling...😅

OKAY the tootsie pop thing is true! My sister and I were just talking about this TODAY (weird) when I was eating one. She said she remembers turning them in to the store for a free one but I don’t. Mandela Effect confirmed.
