The biologist in me couldn’t not comment. I have a bachelor’s degree in biology, and in undergrad I took ornithology. Birds ARE dinosaurs. They SURVIVED the extinction! Only 75% of dinosaurs went extinct during the meteor crash. That 25% that survived include birds, turtles, tortoises, crocodiles, alligators, etc. So yes, Shane, that chicken is, quite literally, a dinosaur! I’ve never really cared about living until about 2 years ago when I got pregnant and something about becoming a mom really flipped a switch in my head and I had this same feeling about finally caring about living.. it’s still weird to look back on, but I’m glad it happened. It feels good to finally love life and get to see my little one grow and explore it. The only downside is now I’m seeing people I grew up with like my parents and actors getting older and it makes me sad..

this is why it’s so important to only talk positively about your body in front of your babies. we have to be the guide for our babies and how they view themselves. so always say positive things about yourself when you’re looking in the mirror at yourself when you kids are watching. Shane, you are a beautiful soul. Ypu all are amazing in your own respects. You are modest and humble, but also have self respect and know what you deserve without being condescending. I’m so glad you freed yourself from the stress of the transition of what you’re going through, because while I’ve noticed a heightened sense of anxiety within you, I’ve also noticed so much courage and with that comes inspiration. I suffer deeply with cptsd and 3 other anxieties and I struggle on a daily basis between the tug of war of what’s happening mentally/emotionally internally, vs being forced to compartmentalise and process others as well and not take things to the extent that I breakdown. Its easy to be an asshole, it’s not always so brave to be fearlessly authentic or accepting, usually because of insecurity, whether that hidden as pretentiousness or not.. and alotttt of people live their lives miserable because they’re afraid of themselves and being judged by others when in actuality that judgement is all a reflection of their inner insecurity. Vulnerability shouldn’t be mistaken for weakness, it’s actually courageousness. Humility is powerful and graceful. There’s no shame in wanting to improve and literally all of us, including Ryland could improve. I’m proud of how he made more of an effort to have your back instead of the passive aggression or competition you show toward both show toward each other at times. Be that power couple, show loyalty, unity and acceptance and be mutually respectful and understanding.. you’re both going to need the support of each other now more than ever, forever, with your legacy coming into fruition. You both can compliment each other well and learn a lot more from each other. Change is going to be uncomfortable yet as equally as exciting and challenging and rewarding. I love seeing the optimism. I wanted to try the "ask yourself if you're dreaming" lucid dreaming method. But then I realized that I'm mentally ill and it feels like I'm dreaming even when I'm not 😭 So if I asked myself during the day "Am I dreaming?" (which I actually think about a lot) my answer would be "probably yes" 😂

I can relate so much to what Shane was saying I did so much damage to my body with my eating disorder I didn't care at the time because I didn't think I would live to be 30. Now I have heart issues and so many other health issues. I have multiple specialists I have to see live does get harder when you actual start to give a crap about yourself 😂 I'm so happy to see Shane making his health a priority ❤

The way add*cts are celebrated should be the exact same (maybe even more so!) for people coming off psycheMeds. In some cases.. it is worse. 1.) most people have no clue what they’re signing up for. Comes from aDoc.. so what could possibly be bad about it, right? And 2.) things like op*ates are sometimes two weeks of hell.. then it’s over. In terms of withdr*wl lolol. Obviously it’s a continual battle for the rest of your life after that.. but you know what I mean 😅 Gotta be careful what I say here and there’s a reason I typed some of that all weird 🙃 long story short - you got this!! Nothing lasts forever right?? 😭 it’ll get better and I hope you’re hangin tf in there til it does!! ♥️

@@ShanonSaunders the problem is the meds don’t make your brain work correctly they just mask the issues and trick the brain into thinking it’s kinda better but it never will be and the medication will always have long term implications/ side affects if you just depend on it to try to fix your mental health. american psychiatrists heavily rely on prescribing drugs instead of addressing core problems for people. and this is for people like shane who have issues that therapy and such are very helpful, I know there’s cases when meds can help but i’d just recommend really thinking about the long term side effects like shane was talking about with his heart. which is something the prescribers don’t talk about for the most part

I just wanted to say I feel you on the health anxiety thing. It’s actually crazy that I clicked on this video today because earlier today I was in tears about my own health as I’m getting older. I feel like I’m grieving my youth now that I’m having a lot of different health issues coming up all of the sudden. I feel like I messed up really bad not taking care of myself at all because I never imagined I would make it to 30 and now I’m 29 and engaged and happy and I’m scared about not knowing how to take better care of myself. Thank you for actually talking about it it really helped me right now.

There's a lot of planning involved in each episode plus a lot of footage to go through. He wouldn't be able to enjoy his life and people will be upset when he brings it back down to 1 episode a week or 1 every 2 weeks. Putting more out is a lot of pressure to put on someone.

Growth is pretty easy for me. I take 4IU per day, highly recommend. Just a tiny shot or two per day, no problem at all. Shred my body fat and I sleep really well. Wait… what podcast is this?
