The film follows the building of St Joseph's Catholic Church and its dedication by Archbishop of Perth, Patrick Joseph Clune CSsR on 3 September 1933. Also included are shots of St Joseph's School and the Josephite Sisters' then convent (1:21; known variously as Ithaca or Villa Carlotta), as well as the former Catholic church (1:12), which is now incorporated into a shopping complex.
Busselton is a coastal city in the South West region of the state of Western Australia approximately 220 km south-west of Perth.
