Construction for affordable housing begins in Whistler, B.C. - July 22, 2024

British Columbia Premier David Eby announces the construction of 104 new rental homes in Whistler. The project is the first under BC Builds, a $12.7-million initiative launched in February 2024 to fast-track delivery of affordable homes in the province.
The premier is joined by provincial Housing Minister Ravi Kahlon, Mayor Jack Crompton, and local resident Nikita Chatwin.
