exactly, its a red soil slope, which is very risky during heavy to moderate continuous rainfall. We have the same soil type in my home town which is very prone to landslide, however good engineering houses it may be

very expensive lang labors and materials so even simple house cost millions not like provinces lowlanders notso expensive you can put cawayan simple house they are contented to livein but here in baguio it must be concrete house because cost of living

What is the purpose od the small holes in the wall?

If the wall is a retaining wall the holes are called weep holes (or weeper holes), to allow for the extraction/ flow-out of water and moisture building up in the soil behind the wall.

Youd be surprised how many houses are built in these terrains here in the highlands. That’s what the group of professionals are for in the construction of such bldgs. It’s really not a scary place to live in.
