I remember buying some off brand pbt keycaps months ago for $8 just to try them. Man, they weren't GMK quality but they're passable as a stock keycap from Varmilo or something. The legends were visible and no signs of weird tearing, and they felt smooth too. Too bad they disappeared off the face of the earth a week after buying my keycaps.

GMK is a terrible benchmark for "regular" keycaps as they are still ABS at the end of the day. It doesn't matter how good the build quality and initial looks are ABS will always end up a glossy mess. Maybe its not a problem if you only intend to type on them every full moon and you have a rotation of 100 keyboards but for a regular set of keycaps, GMK are not fit for purpose. They get glossy and non-uniformly,. so that you have a bunch of super glossy regularly used keys and noticeably less glossy keys elsewhere, making them look just dirty. Overhyped by the community and only fit for purpose as "display" keycaps and not really as a regular set.

I can confirm Bossi key caps are pretty awesome specially considering their price and so many selections of colors. I've been using them on multiple Redragon keyboards for over half a year now and they are really good, LEDs shine through them really well. Just very solid key caps for the price.
