Hi Nick, I would like you to explain, in the most friendly way (as you have done), how contacts relate with opportunities (I need finally understand this object), leads and cases (I'm struggle with this object as well). I'm a programmer but I would like to see this concepts from the user point of view. Thanks!

Hi Masiel, I will try my best! I would be happy to jump in a meeting with you if that would help at all - feel free to book a meeting here calendly.com/nickboardman/nick-boardman-meeting. So think of contacts as people, these people are employees of businesses (accounts). When going through a sale (deal) multiple contacts may relate to the sale (deal), as they may be responsible for making the final decision to buy your product/service. For leads I recommend you watch this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6rYiYdppNyZqtk. Cases are essentially issues your customer (contacts) may have with your product or service, and you use the cases pipeline to resolve the issue or answer the question the customer (contact) has. I really hope this helps!

@@NickBoardman thanks!! It actually helps! Great, I’ll contact you when I have more questions. Thanks for explanation about Cases, I was confused with it and its difference with the Activity object.

Hi quick question here! If Nick Boardman is titled as director in one account(business) , can he be titled as VP for another business in SF? Essentially, can a contact have various titles for various accounts(businesses)

Hello, I was wondering if is possible to have Salesforce search another application that it is integrated with? In this example it would be SAP. The scenario goes like this, you finished a phone call with a customer using ring central that is already integrated with Salesforce and it automatically logs the call when you are done. Using you're videos I know I would be able to make a picklist that would allow me to categorize the phone call. I would like to have the option to categorize the phone call as a quote, and then a text box would open up allowing you to enter the quote number. This is where my question comes into play. Would Salesforce be able to pull the amount of the quote using the number you provided when closing the call? Would it be able to look into SAP's data base and search for say quote#201 and then find what the amount of that quote was and automatically generate that into another field. I appreciate any of your thoughts on the matter!

How do you change a contact to another account? Also how do you delete a contact that no longer works for the same account and they have left your industry so they don't need to be tied to another account?
