Watching you figure out how the war dogs/darkhold matchup should play out in real time was very interesting, love to see the strategic brain at work. Can’t wait for nakia and the full team to be out!

Thank you for your (envoys) hard work fixing this mess.

Wait a second, that doesn't make sense. With how the event launched, we have (their words and yet to be confirmed), an average drop of 15 blitz credits per blitz win. Before that it was 10 per win. The calcs they had assumed would be closer to like 30 per win. This is just a bad cover up.

36000 was the correct math if we got 50-60 points a blitz win.

they've fixed the issue but harm for the players already been made since some players decided to not blitzing at all after they've realized this event is not possible to finish

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that they changed the event. With that being said, I don't believe their blitz math excuse. If they were going off the old blitz reward payout than this event would have been easier. We get more blitz credits now, not less. They aren't even good at making excuses.

The old blitz reward payment was always 10 credits, was it not? That would have made the event more difficult.

I hate to see this game if it wasn't "World Class"

I'm skipping the Core refreshes regardless... Not worth it for me since I never get the last month long event milestone anyway.

Your explanation of the math “error” for Viral Vision makes no damn sense. You said under the old system you got 10 Blitz credits per win, while under the new system you get a random amount. That’s true, but the random amount is a MINIMUM of 10, up to some incredibly high but ungodly rare maximum (highest I’ve gotten is 200). That would make it EASIER if the event were designed for the old system. You also stated in an earlier video that the “average” amount was estimated to be 15. I really, really question that. Even with the occasional windfall like the 200, I’m averaging a little over 12, with 8 rotations per day, 41 teams per rotation.

I'm not sure how you're getting the math of an event that always pays a lower set amount is somehow easier.
@lawrence55202 жыл бұрын
@@McMole2MSF I didn’t - you did. You said the old way paid out 10 Blitz credits per win - always. I think that’s wrong, but it’s what you said. The new way pays out a MINIMUM of 10 per win, sometimes more, but always at least 10.

@@McMole2MSF Because if it were DESIGNED for the old way, which paid out 10 Blitz credits per win, then the new way (which rewards more) would have been EASIER to do. That’s why their explanation (“Well, it would have worked, but we didn’t take into account the new way Blitz credits are awarded”) makes no damn sense. It makes more sense to say “Well, we made it harder because we knew the new Blitz system gave more credits, but since we don’t actually play the game we MASSIVELY overestimated how much more Blitz credits a Blitz rotation gives.” Which, btw, is what I think happened. Especially if they’re estimating 40 wins per rotation (which, as you say, is an overestimation) and an average of 15 points per win (which is just wrong).

You know how you avoid these event math miscalculations? Stop making the math inhumanly convoluted. Make the math straightforward and simple so players (and event planners) can understand it without needing spreadsheets and secret decoder rings.
