Nice recovery and gentle landing. You can only work with what you have. Other companies might have two rotators and another recovery vehicle on the front, but you worked with what you had. Apart from the pole, it could have been a more difficult recovery. Great team work!

Great job as always, its weird to me seeing that truck like that it was used here a lot here for hauling sugar beets to the factory from our ground piles, they sold the majority of volvos in their fleet for new freightliners almost a year ago.

All right guys good recovery backseat driver here your second truck should have been on the tail side of the trailer then you would have had your catch what do you think about that lifting with both cables on the rear of the trailer and once you get it past the Midway point the second cable would let it down slowly old tow truck driver just saying what I would have done what do you think but still a good recovery gentleman love your videos

Trent if you have time watch the first 6 minutes of this video from Josh the RV Nerd at Bish’s Rv called Jayco Class C Motorhome Factory Tour and pay attention to how the hitch is mounted cause it doesn’t look like grade 8 bolts and then please tell me if you think if it’s safe to pull from the hitch or rear frame if you have to recover them or tow from the rear hitch

Would the tractor/trailer or both be totaled out or repaired in a situation like this?
@doak48862 жыл бұрын
Color of the tractor obviously clashed with the container. Of course the entire unit tipped over. Who would drive a tractor that color and not expect a major accident? P.S. Great job!
@dougsdiesel2 жыл бұрын
The company that used to own that truck is Transystems from Montana runs all of them green like that they use them in all the states that do sugar beets and in the summer gravel and asphalt I've seen that truck several times here at our piles they only sold it almost a year ago.

Isn't it required to have a bill of lading that includes the weight of the load?
@noahater57852 жыл бұрын
At least pulling the driveshaft is a lot easier because the casualty vehicle you're removing the driveshaft from is already sideways so there's nothing to crawl under.

Not necessarily. They work both end up at the same spot. Our biggest issue was we set the rotator up a bit to far away. A learning experience for sure

@plazatowing2 жыл бұрын
We were debating on if we should catch it or not. In hindsight we should have set the rotator up a bit closer if we wanted to make a clean transition but with the load shifted we were weary of a load shift in the opposite direction once upright
