Looking at your other videos brought me to this one! Iris scott paintings affirms that all beings and events in the universe are natural. Although naturalism denies the existence of truly supernatural realities, it makes allowance for the supernatural, in a detectable way. That is evident in her paintings. The visual distortion you explain is insightful! Her paintings are remarkable! I thoroughly enjoyed this video!

Hey! Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed this video so much and got some good insights from it. :) Iris Scott is a wonderful artist. I'd love to do more videos on Contemporary Artists, I really want to expand the series. Make it more of a focus. I only ever reviewed 4 artists who do artwork, and that was all back in 2015 & 2016. I want to review more artists, I have a few already in mind, even 1 Italian Artist reached out recently, requested I review their artwork, I probably shall. I am both happy and humbled to see a comment such as this, It feels good as a small-time creator and for that I graciously thank you - a creator is nothing without audience and viewership. This particular video in my opinion is one of the best in my catalog (so far). A few months ago my old 2010 laptop started having serious mechanical failures and between working a full-time day job and helping various family, the channel was / is on a sort of hiatus. You may notice the past 3 videos between August - December 2016 have just been simple music videos. However, as I type to you, I now have a fully functioning new computer, and will be very soon back in full-operation making videos. The focus will be what it has been (TV & Film / Art & Artists videos) so stay tuned! :)

What I like about her paintings is that they don't have to be photo realistic to enjoy them. I really think they have more character than pictures that you can't even tell if they're a photograph or painting...

Reminds me of Vincent Van Gogh. The way her paint is in squiggles and not flat lines gives me that Van Gogh vibe

:D I'm very flattered by this comment - however, I'm not sure I have the resources, funding, time, or several other variables to do so. I did take Art History 1 & 2 in community college (So I do have some of the formal credentials) I'm also knowledgeable in the study of art, it is a passion of mine, I do draw as well. I wish I could do it more often than I have been doing so lately.
