Good on you Neil, I had a large collection that I bought/received as a kid going back to 1978 to 1982/3 ish then gave them all away!!! Only in the last few years have I re-collected vintage Star Wars toys and now have quite a few and mostly with original boxes and accessories - prices a bit different now though!! Happy collecting.

great video!! i feel the same way i like the old vintage stuff cause that's what i remember and loved so much...thing is once you complete your old collection then you venture off into the new stuff its a never ending hobby

Have you picked up the new Vintage collection Tie fighter? It's got the big wings/solor arrays. I grabbed one about 2 weeks ago.

I remember using a old quality street tin as the Falcon, then that xmas i got the oroginal falcon. Very fond memories

To correct him, the red snaggletooth is not actually from the film a new hope, his design is actually inspired by the costume of a snaggletooth in the mos eisley cantina in the holiday special. So technically we did get a holiday special figure 😂

wish i had started collecting in the 90s i was buying the wrong ones. POTF2. now its taking so long to complete cause the prices have gone through the roof

I collect Star Wars toys too, but the one thing I hate most about collectors. Is when they star referring to the toy as a (piece). " it's a nice piece" all collectors do this and it drives me crazy.....its just a toy, I call them toys, ships or figures. Yes they are expensive but please stop calling them piece's.

4:53, I had personally no problem with them, the POF2-figures and especially the first line of it. I was there in the beginning in then late 70s but appreciated the POF2 figures also. What I do not like are todays super articulate figures. No need for them.

Actually the reason why there are so many sealed Kenner SW toys is because somebody thought they were going to be collectible so...
