well, it actually is possible for them to sing it live bc the one singing at the moment stops going hard while the others go off around them. All kpop choreos are extremely clever when it comes to making this illusion that they dance with no breaks (even though they do, just by taking turns)

People need to stop underestimating korean idols or idols in general. They are way out of league of most western artists out there. These people put so much effort to earn their spot on stage. They dont just simply sing or simply dance. They trains for years to excel in everything. That's why i know k-pop will go a long way because it's really a product of unimaginable efforts and untouchable artistry.

@@kenzie_845 You're responding to a year old comment but if you watch idol survival shows it's not really that much of a reach. The idol industry in South Korea is extremely competitive so only the best of the best ever really get a chance to succeed.

"They have been trained to be in sync".. of course.. even during pre-debut, Hoshi and Woozi were very strict towards the members when it comes to practicing their dances.. may it be the angle of their hands, the little details in their dances, the tiger's (Hoshi's) gaze will definitely see it

They can sing this live because once it's someone's turn to sing, he would be just vibing in front or dancing small steps. They are actually trained to sing while dancing vigorously, you can see clips of them jogging around the training room while singing in a high range.

i've watched a couple of her reactions and she keeps saying they can't sing and dance live....she clearly doesn't know how training in kpop works...they train their asses off from a young age to do this...granted, they do use a backing track, but they sing VERY STABLY (is that a word?) live compared to Western artists

she should watch the MAMA 2020 live performance of Home;run (201206). its' sooo good! the costumes! the stage! the mix! oooof, it's a homerun~ and to everyone in the comments saying theyre not lip syncing, of course they are lip syncing! all kpop idols lip sync if theres choreo. it's not 100% lip sync but it's def a big portion of it. and it's not like they can't sing live, it's just they cant while doing intense dances. in asia it's not that frowned upon to lip sync if your'e gonna dance. it's not a diss to your idol if they do lip sync so stop being so defensive about it!!

Thank you. There’s a lot of defensiveness around lip syncing as if it downplays an artists talent. It’s all about performance and the best way to achieve that whenever they choose to because their choreo is very demanding.
