Read the haunting of hill house and loved it so will definitely pick up White is for witching sounds incredible. Will probably pick up the other contemporary books you mentioned as well and maybe try their classic recommendations to try to get myself into more classic books. I loved this video! I added like three books to my "to read" list! I'm a big fan of Shirley Jackson so I obviously NEED to read White is for Witching after hearing you describe it and compare it to the haunting of hill house - as well as The Dumb House already sounded incredible and when you compared it to the Collector which I LOVED I knew I had to get it!! thank you for such amazing recommendations:)

You clearly put thought in this type of video and it shows- always a joy to watchI think most of us are interested in finding classics based on the contemporary books we like, so it might be nice to recommend a classic based on multiple contemporaries. At least it would increase the chance of the video containing a book I'm already familiar with :p just an idea!
