@exilhamburger48028 ай бұрын
During last season, I don't remember the opponents, but before the tanking effort, Maxi Kleber messed up something at the end of a game for a loss, but in the next game came through with a clutch shot for a win, Kyrie was one of the first to grab him and wrestle him to the ground in celebration. He did look, like he was with the team 100%. Maybe it is the structure, maybe the leadership from coach Kidd, but he did resign for less than the max, and if Luka and Kyrie ever figure out a way to maximize their talents, combined with a little growth from Lively, the Mavs will be dangerous!

The Wolves couldn’t care less if anyone does or doesn’t believe in them. They go out every night and get little credit and plenty of skepticism and they just continue to dominate on defense and keep getting better offensively. NBA could also copy the tennis scoring system. You can win less total points but still win the match if you win at critical moments. You must win two points in a row to win a game, Win three sets to win a match, etc. Probably not THE BEST idea without some more careful consideration. But, you would have to respect the bold attempt and dedication to entertainment.

The lakers will make no moves
@gamesnstuff6578 ай бұрын
They just don't have the trade assets to do anything meaningful in the trade market. They sold the farm for the team they have, and that team got some fortunate match ups in the playoffs to get to the WCF last year and then got swept by the nuggets. They could possibly get a mediocre bench player with their pick, but that's not changing anything for them. AD has been playing at a high level, but they don't have enough firepower. If this were any other team than the lakers I would say they should blow it up, but the Lakers don't control any of their picks until the end of this decade, so rebuilding through the draft and doing a youth movement isn't really an option. What they could do is package Lebron and AD for very attractive contracts to clean up their salary which would let them build through free agency. The lakers are 1 of maybe 3 or 4 teams in the league that can rebuild through free agency so they always have that going for them. They just need to clear their books to do it.
