shamsi may not speak the clearest English or the most easy English to follow or understand but if u pay attention u will b able to follow. shamsi has clearly shown kalam doesn't have any evidence which when scrutinised stands up kalam is following a system that doesn't have evidence and its teachers do not have in depth knowledge about kemit or it's beliefs yet kalam makes out he has the total understanding and has the best of belief but kalam chooses not to b honest and agree he doesn't have a full in depth understanding on kemet. all we can say kemet is an ancient belief system and is only for black people. well done shamsi for exposing the speakers corner kemets

@Great Khan The difference is no one called Muhammad (peace upon him ) a liar, they actualy believed in him. Listen dont compare our beloved prophet to Kalam the snake. And im sure you didnt find out about him and his story, because even if you would not believe him. You would talk about him with more respect.

@emptymaster7718 2 жыл бұрын
@Great Khan You showed me nothing, you just said he had wars ?? Stop playing games man. Even so, I go to hadith, go to Qu'ran it will show you. But you are a clever man so let me give you non muslims scholar about the sincerety of our prophet (peace upon him). ''Only a profound belief in himself and his mission explains Muhammad's readiness to endure hardship and persecution during the Meccan period when from a secular point of view there was no prospect of success. Without sincerity how could he have won the allegiance and even devotion of men of strong and upright character like Abu-Bakr and 'Umar ? ... There is thus a strong case for holding that Muhammad was sincere. If in some respects he was mistaken, his mistakes were not due to deliberate lying or imposture. (...)the important point is that the message was not the product of Muhammad's conscious mind. He believed that he could easily distinguish between his own thinking and these revelations. His sincerity in this belief must be accepted by the modern historian, for this alone makes credible the development of a great religion. The further question, however, whether the messages came from Muhammad's unconscious, or the collective unconscious functioning in him, or from some divine source, is beyond the competence of the historian. W. Montgomery Watt Same thing for Rudi Paret.

jaber Islam (n.) "religious system revealed by Muhammad," 1816, from Arabic islam, literally "submission" (to the will of God), from root of aslama "he resigned, he surrendered, he submitted," causative conjunction of salima "he was safe," and related to salam "peace." ... Islam is the only major religion, along with Buddhism (if we consider the name of the religion to come from Budd, the Divine Intellect, and not the Buddha), whose name is not related to a person or ethnic group, but to the central idea of the religion. ["The Heart of Islam: Enduring Values for Humanity," Seyyed Hossein Nasr, 2002] Earlier English names for the faith include Mahometry (late 15c.), Muhammadism (1610s), Islamism (1747), and Ismaelism (c. 1600; see Ismailite). The Ismailites were not numerous in Islam, but among them were the powerful Fatimid dynasty in Egypt and the Assassins, both of which loomed large in European imagination. This use also is in part from Ishmaelite, a name formerly given (especially by Jews) to Arabs, as descendants of Ishmael (q.v.).

How can you compare this Kemet way to Islam? A SINCERE advice to those who are sincere. And I really don't mean to offend... Hell is not made for people who genuinely didn't know the truth... it's for the people that rejected the pure worship of God Almighty (Allah). shamsi really put that fire on them, they were all speechless and couldnt answer for those of you butthurt kemets on here crying. shamsi's point wasnt about varying opinions it was about objective understanding and examples with proper authentification of the criteria. we muslims have that with companions and muslim community of that time. while kemets just have a "gathering of sources from different temples and understandings of different kemets". How can you take from different temples and teachers when they all disagree on the understandings of the symbols. Egyptians didnt gather upon unity rather they had different kingdoms with different cultures. just take courses in ancient art history and symbols and you will know what i mean. Egyptians were many different tribes and kingdoms such as hittites and others it kept on changing. This has proved that when it comes to kemetic belief kemets are very touchy about revealing their beliefs and they seem hot tempered when their cornered. this is just a taste of the medicine and they dont like it

Shamsi did not expose anyone, he demanded that they meet a standard of evidence he cannot meet himself. He also seldom let them respond to what he'd asked. Being annoyed because your interlocutor is being ass like that is completely reasonable, I found their manner in the face of it exemplary. You guys anyway overrate a correlation between emotion and truth in debate , a calm falsity is still false, and an angry truth is still the truth, pointing out the emotion changes nothing.

Shamsi steamrolled into Kemet. It clear Dr Reggie, my old pal, can't read the Metu Neter (writing of Kemet); and is got beef with with religion because of the pimps and hustlers in the Black Christian Church. Jabri, as a Priest, with a taste for fine cloths, knows Priest need to get paid. And, to cap it all, the General, Seti, saying no man can read the Metu Neter. Any basic agreement on what Kemet is, in the end, must come from the whiteman's books and studies:)

Dr. George G.M. James is the Father of Black Ancient Egyptian Study in the United States. Prior to that Martin Delaney first studied the Mdu Ntr. Also prior to this Modern Masonry contained important links for it was built upon Ancient Kemet. However, the system is Sia, Hu, Heka, Maat - and with this we need no other system this is the direct path. I have found that the Religious Nile Valley Practitioners do not understand this. Show me one that teaches it. Most Nile Valley Religious Teachers lead you to themselves for Guidance - I lead you to the Method - The Tp Hsb - the W3t n Ankh learned in the Pr Ankh.

This is very frustrating to watch but quite simple to explain. Kemet is a school where many different things were taught. Metaphors were used, deities were also used to explain certain principles of the human experience. Out of that school, many people made spiritual systems out of what was taught in the Kemet school of philosophy. So if 2 people differ, it's because they have 2 different schools of thought from the same school of philosophy.

As someone who watches speakers corner videos as a Christian living in Canada i think there are just a couple rules of etique everyone(Christian, Jew, Muslim, Atheist, Kemet, etc) should follow. (i)Don't cut a person off. (ii)Don't misrepresent the views of someone you don't agree with. (iii) Don't mock or ridicule someone just because they don't share your beliefs. (iv) Keep a calm, cool and level head in discussions (v)Don't get offended so easily. St Paul tells us in the Bible we are to "speak the truth in love"(Ephesians 4:15). So even if what you are saying is true, if it's done in an arrogant, egotistical spirit, it will turn people off. I think that goes for everyone, regardless of creed, culture or religion. We should be people who have love for your fellow human beings, even if we disagree with them.

@@denohart4929 there are more cases of apostates each year 🤣 the umah are not united as you can’t even decide on how to interpret the book which is why you have Sunni, shai, suffix, etc which one of you think you have the truth of Islam 🤣, not to mention as science progresses it subconsciously challenges religion each year Islam like most abrahamic religions lose their grip .

I am happy that so many Muslims in comments think that Shamsi did very well with his overtalking, constant interupting, lack of ability to listen, failiure to comprehend and general rudeness. This represents Islam . Shamsi compounds the damage to Islam by getting so much support for his motormouth rants which do not undermine the Kemetic teachings in any way.

Kemet is actually more advanced than what Shamsi is peddling. It is more scientific and curious about reality. Kemetic thought is able to reform and advance because it is based on whatever nature is. Therefore, the more understanding there is about nature, the more Kemet can be improved and made more relevant. What Shamsi is peddling will cause, and is causing conflict and war because it is not flexible towards discoverable truth and deeper understanding of our reality. Shamsi, like many believers are stuck and dissatisfied with their unfortunate trappings. As a result, they are not happy to hold their views to themselves and within their group. They have to force convert others into their belief system, often through wars and conflict. Yuck!

Kalam @ 22m I see what you did being clever trying to kid the viewers. You knew you on the back foot hard so you tried swaying it by narrating untruth. Shamsi, as animated as he is wasnt diverting was he? He was in fact on the track that rendered you speechless because the shoe was on the other foot unlike when you question the foundations of other 'ways of life'. Kemet movement has no foundations at all. I am a neutral. I too was taken in by the glitz and romanticism of it all. SaNeter is a former street hustler without a care for the older generation Kemetic scholars. Polight is in Beverly Hills chilling with transvestites and Europeans after fleecing the black community, ditto Umar Johnson who still hasn't built a school financed by impoverished black folk. Furthermore, Cheik Ante Diop married a european, so did Van Sertima, along with many others. Also the whole revivalist 'Kemet Philosophy' was pioneered only 150 years ago, all Europeans, why? Dr Ben died an old man alone and other predecessors works have simply been exploited without care of the individual at the time. Their work has been plagiarised and mushroomed into this inexplicable cult without any credible basis, only a european pipe dream constructed to ensure the lost tribe is further careered into oblivion. All it takes is to research this objectively and overstand it's a movement started by those in power for ulterior motives. It's stamped with a European led dictate. I know Jedi knows what im saying. Thats why he doesn't go there. He's the only guy there that I am sure is aware of the baseless Kemet movement. Study of Africa on it's own is wonderful but come on guys, this is a compromised movement beginning, middle and end.

Samshe talks about the ancestors of Kemet being of good character, worthy of learning from yet follows a man who taught nonsense like this It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said: "It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you perform Wudu' from the well into which the bodies of dogs, menstrual rags and garbage are thrown?' He said: 'Water is pure and it is not made impure by anything.'"

The ancient Kanapata texts are the most extensive of all written religious text on the planet earth, hence forth there were many perspectives and the kingdom's were thousands upon thousands of years of knowledge, which also means certain litigation stances would've been quashed and reaffirmed, which in Islam is called Fiqh, Fatawa. Each Pharoh would've drawn from different Sages, Scholars, and Prophets.

I do not understand why "we"want to use our own religious/holy books and our religious world view and superimpose them on other peoples books. The Christians do the same with the Tanakh. They read the NT and superimpose NT theology into the Tankh/OT. They will seek to forcefully tell a Jew what his text means. The same I see here in debates. NT believers usually Christians tend to do the same with the Quran. Now we see it again with a brother Muslim doing the same thing to Kalam. Kalam is sharing what criteria the people of Kemet used. Why do "we" feel it is ok to tell him that the criteria used by the people is wrong? Based on his religious Book the Quran. Is this not what happened during King Richard and his Crusades? That they conducted that they call a religious war, trying to impose Christian thinking on the East? We see this with the Native Americans. Christians coming to the Americas, killing and enforcing their view on Native People. We see this and witness this over and over again. Why do we think that it is ok to do this to people? Why?

Kalam is ignorant. He thinks how we worship Allah is not deep? We don't say just 'Alalala' Here's the translation:- We start with - "Allahu akbar God is the Greatest Purity (from imperfection belongs) to you, my God And the praise (also belongs to you) Blessed is Your Name. Your Majesty (Glory and Might) is Exalted. There is no deity but You. I seek Refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. All the praises are for Allah, the Sustainer of all the worlds, the Beneficent, the Merciful, Lord of the Day of Judgment. You alone do we worship and You alone do we ask for help Lead us along the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have bestowed Your favors, not of those who incurred Your wrath, nor (ofthose who) went astray! (Amen) (Then we recite any verse from the Quran) For example:- In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful 1. Say: He is God, One 2. God, the Shelterer 3. He begets not. Nor is He begotten 4. And there is no compeer unto Him In Ruqu: Glory be to my Lord, the Almighty From Ruqu: God hears those who praise Him Standing: Our Lord, praise be to You In Sajda: Glory be to my Lord, the Most High Sitting: My God forgive me, forgive me "
