Excellent review with great detail. This Curvv is a great product and it's endearing to see this review after having used an Indica V2 and a Zest in the past. The PSA PureTech engine might be better when its new but they have horrible reliability issues caused by the wet timing belt which leads to oil starvation and its after-effects. Similar to the Ford EcoBoost engines which are even worse to work on. Keep up the quality content.

Why push the 'Made in India' label so much? All cars, regardless of brand, are manufactured in India, and people are getting jobs. We're all paying the same taxes when buying cars, so brands like Tata and Mahindra don't need to rely on the 'Indian-made' badge to sell. Just because it's an Indian engine doesn't mean it can be a less efficient 3-cylinder. For the price and taxes we pay, the end user deserves real value, not a subpar engine with a 'Made in India' push to sell it. Indian companies like Tata and Mahindra are global brands now

That’s because an AMT is really a Manual transmission underneath and manuals don’t have a P. You could add a parking pawl to lock the gearbox but it needs to have the space inside the gearbox and involves more engineering and more cost. The main reason to have an AMT is to save costs, so it defeats the purpose to add one. Great question. Automobile Engineering students who think like you and ask questions are what we need. Which college?
