I love the interface. I've started a couple times with the free web version but didn't continue. I've been seeing many commercials about the ipad interface and decided that's what I'm doing for the new year. The way the apple pencil 2 works with the new ipad pro is amazing. Great work!

Hi, nice video . I’m using sketchup on my iPad and it’s amazing.However there’s a problem I’ve noticed. There’s isn’t a left hand mode, or am I missing something? I’ve checked all over for this and can’t find it.

Hello Aaron Thanks a lot for your videos. I am experiencing a problem while “Copy” “Paste” from context menu. When I do that a next menu appears “Paste” and “Paste in place” and this ona won’t disappear after pasting, more then that it keeps hanging through all the models . Any tips how I can solve this? Purge command not helping. Thank you

Hello Aaron and thanks a lot for these videos. I would like to leave a suggestion for a next video: how to show room areas in the drawing. I am drawing prefab homes and need to get areas instantly so I can adjust surfaces close to minimum standards as possible. Is that a way to do it with areas showing and updating as I draw? Thanks in advance!

Just use the Label tool. This will put a text box on the face showing the area.

@@Kyle-bv6uv I'm doing this, but it doesn't update as my drawing evolves. I have to erase and place a new label, redo the text inside. if there's no other way, maybe my comment will trigger an update on the next software release ;) Thanks anyway!

@@carolinamarques5808 ​ Sorry - the labels will not auto-update in Sketchup, but the labels will update in Layout. In SketchUp, you can just select a surface and see the SF in Entity info. Pin the Entity info panel in a way that you can easily view while working.
