Thanks SOS. Your series has been a true joy to follow this year. Your talent for this medium is exceptional. Your voiceover reflections have been poignant without feeling the least bit phony- the genuine, honest, yet calming approach you have is unique and wonderful to hear. 😀😀😀 Wishing you and Kid the best as the next chapters unfold. Peace and happy trails.

Nice finish after the finish. To thine own self be true even if it was a bit of a pain logistically. Your combination of voice over and talking to the camera combined with your field notes to jog the memory really is a good method that few use but it works very well for you. I think I prefer it. You do a great job of sharing your insights, challenges et Al. I know your audience must appreciate it; I certainly do. Looking forward to whatever comes next for you that you choose to share. Take care. By the way, Kid was sporting an exceptional beard in that last clip. Congrats to him as well for closing the gap.😊

thanks so much!! I'm really happy with how everything came together (I hoped it would, but with not editing until after the trail, I really wasn't sure). I'm glad you appreciate it as well :) I'll pass along the congrats to him also and yes! his thru-hiking beard is something else haha.

Congrats! It's awesome to see the footage of your return to the closed areas. I'm sure more than a few folks just checked the "done" box at Canada but I applaud you two for your dedication to experiencing it all.

Thank you! It was certainly a logistical hurdle to get there, but it was important to us and we knew it would be a hassle (and we'd be much slower) once we settled back in to "normal" life.

I have missed your great videos each week. Thanks for the “fix.” Reading a hiking book, “AWOL on the Appalachian Trail” to tide me over.

Thank you! I'm definitely planning some shorter adventures for this summer and plan to share those! Let me know how you like the book - I believe I've heard of it before.

How beautiful! It’s weird how the change in altitude can get you emotionally tweaky.. I always kinda noticed it and wondered if it was just me?! Thanks so much for the beautiful scenery! I appreciate your comments at the end as you are reflecting .. I you continue

Congrats! Thank you for sharing your journey! The intro music for this video series rocks! I'd love to hear the rest of the song. Do you know the song title and/or artist?

thank you for watching! and yes! it's called "Now We Do It Again" by Duplex Heart ft. Anya Gold. I found it on the music licensing platform that I use (www.epidemicsound.com/referral/1actsi) but I would imagine there's other places to find it as well.

Congratulations, again!! Any plans for the AT? Looking forward to new vids (not that I'm suggesting that you embark on a major thru hike just for my own personal viewing pleasure). I really enjoyed your vlogs. I think the best out there, IMO.

What's next? Are you considering the GDT?

It's definitely on the list, not sure when it will happen though. I've got some shorter plans for this summer and I think my next long one will be the AT.
