THANK YOU for this video! I've started a challenging colorwork piece worked flat and as a Norwegian purl-er I was going insane trying to figure out how to pick up speed on the wrong side. Echoing another commenter ... does your DVD cover trapping floats while Norwegian purling two colors on the wrong side? I'm manually twisting the yarns with my left hand each time -- trying to remember to twist first one way and then the other to avoid [even more of] a tangled mess in my lap. I'm hoping there's a better way!

Totally incomprehensible to me. I have no idea what you mean by Norwegian purl and as I am an English style knitter I cannot make any sense of this video.

As you have intuited, this is not an English -style technique. The yarn must be held in the left hand, Continental style. I have been purling this way since I was nine and I love it, but it doesn’t suit everyone. Thanks for watching!
