I read The Winter Sea on a trip to Scotland years ago and flew through it! Recommend. ❤ And for your friend - I'm a Christian and I'm married, and I felt the Lord nudge me to avoid open door/overly spicy stuff. As a Christian I do read smut bc I’m married. If I wasn’t I wouldn’t. Smut helped me lol 1 after having kids my drive took a dive 2 it actually helped me to be more aware of what I liked in a safe space 3 its bc I’m married I’m ok with it however I do have a boundary I just discovered I can’t mix God and Smut ex. Priest too close to home 😅😅😅

You absolutely can, read smut when you’re married. I find it actually helps keep things interesting in the relationship between you and your spouse. It’s freeing to discuss and discover a whole other part of your sexual side.

To Alex, I would advise that the Lord made her a sexual being. How she uses her sexuality is in her hands, as in if someone else is controlling how she feels about sex, sexual desire, and sexual functions can cause a plethora of issues. Perhaps learn the level of smut that she's comfortable with but celibacy and knowing what you like (in literature form) can help open up discussions needed to be had with one's partner. Did not know she was a history major. Awesome fact. To Miss Shawnaci, nice recommendations. Oh, I just received Jewel Me Twice by Cherish Reid and The Chaser by Terrence M. Clarke based on your recommendation. Cannot wait to read them soon.

I dont think ur reading the book u called the main character annoying. I think you're supposed to sympathize with her cause she is struggling with drugs, and she's also being verbally abused by her partner like victim blaming is not cool do better. and to ur friend, she shouldn't buy the book she was thinking of buying cause she doesn't seem very mature.
