Hey mate, great effort. Looks like you're on your own there. You're a brave man working off a platform ladder that high up. I'm about to start construction of my own steel shed which is 4.5m to the peak, not American Barn Style, just a normal gable ended roof shed 15m x 9m x 3.6m I purchased a scaffold and a scissor lift pretty cheap to help me get the job done. I have no help, so I have to persevere and do it myself. This is humanity in the modern times... Wish me luck.

A scissor lift is a great idea for the centre peak, I was also looking at mobile scaff and will probably get one for the house build. The platform ladder is probably one of the best purchases I've made, so much better than the extension ladder I was using. It can be daunting when you're looking at the shed all flat packed, you'll be fine, just take you time, eat the elephant one bite at a time!

what type of ladder is that you're using and specs. I'm building same barn in about 6 months and I'm taking your lead big fella. I may have a bunch Qs in coming months. I love what you're doing. you are pretty much the only Aussie that I can find giving a tuition on a metal shed put together. Well done.

Cheers! The platform ladder is a Gorilla brand, I got it from Sydney Tools, Total Tools also have them but were out of stock. The platform adjusts from 1.5 - 2.4m, it's rated to 180kg. I also have an extension ladder that gets me a bit higher but not as easy to work off. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos,like I've said in my videos, I'm not an expert, just a bloke giving it a crack. Happy to answer questions, I may take a few days to get back to you because I'm doing long days on the build. Enjoy the process!
