I would build two boxes. 1 on either side and have a walk through area all the way from the back to front. This way you can access your speakers and still have some functional room to place lengths of wood and or tools or why in there if you want. I would leave the side door functional and bolt the amps to the box for easy access and cooling and view from the people. Maybe make a theme of some sort like the ice cream man. The kids would love it. I would pack the back doors with mids and highs so you can open them up for extended sound and maybe more amps recessed into the back of the boxes. Easy access and functionability and ease of build. 8 15s sounds reasonable

Telescopic port has been an idea for a while...1.5" panels sliding on HDPE...(somehow sealed tracks with friction set bolts/ threaded pads ?). Adjustable tune would be way far out. Sealing panels within track and alleviating deflection is a challenge. I think carbon layers applied to panels might work.
