Im confused, OG says the maximum resistance value of a ring is 0.05 how come 0.86 is accepted? Thanks

didn't null out the socket tester before taking readings on the sockets

It's a Megger 1700 Series. It would already have been nulled from when he did it at the start. The Meggers remember the null. No difference between test probe leads and a plug lead.
