Shame about the generic 3d polygonal graphics. Why just why put that kind of graphics in a 2d game, just imagine how the game would look like with amazing 2d art style with the new tech, muramasa for Wii for example, wasted potential.

I played it as a java game. One of the best memories. The graphics( given the time back then) was rlly good and the gameplay was worth it.i completed the game back then , its saddening there is no modern game of contra

Not really, because this was on the Nintendo DS, which had two screens. And the reason the stuff in the middle sorta disappears is because the two screens had a gap between them where the hinges were, and some developers took that into consideration when designing games for it.

You can play ALL the levels too in normal mode. In Easy mode the Last one Is the 7. But in normal oir hard mode you can play ALL levels
