One of the first games I rented from Blockbuster Video right after buying my SNES from The Wherehouse of all places (remember them???). Thought, “Oh, it’s Contra. I beat this easily on NES. No problem.” Nope, was humbled right away by the second or third level.

When Konami ported this to the GBA, they replaced the Mode 7 levels with levels from Contra Hard Corps.
