That came out super nice! For something like this, my level of highlighting would depend on how many I was doing. I like the ear highlight a lot. I might do a drybrush for a couple layers of fur highlights just to keep it quick and easy. Picking out the individual furs is time consuming. It looks so good though! Really nice job! I am saving this video to my "painting fur" folder right now!

Great example of your contrast blending method Mr. Matt. Personally, I think doing the highlights on the fur is worth it. It adds that extra level of crispness and vibrancy that pure contrast paints can't really provide on their own. Great looking unit.
