Thanks for watching! Good eye on the corks, they're from single malt ;) I use super glue for the parts after painting. I will test fit the joints first, if they dont quite fit, I will scrape away paint as needed until it fits.

Not that it’s terribly important but how grey are we talking primer wise here, mechanicus or grey seer? Really like your videos, convinced me to do kraken for my leviathan box.

If it's Contrast paints, Grey Seer. I've tried Mechanicus and that come out realllly ugly. You want to be a little bit darker than white.

I use a household grey primer available from Ace hardware stores in the US. It's a near perfect color match to Dawmstone. Then I airbrush white over that in a zenithal style. If you dont have access to that, I would spray with Grey Seer followed by a light spray of white spray paint from the top and sides. Or just plain white on its own would work too. I wouldn't use Mechanicus, it's too dark. Hope this helps and good luck!
