Shit the DLC takes place during alan Wake's attempt to free himself from the world of madness the darkness trapped him in. But since this dlc gave Jesse faden some insight as to the reason behind wake's disappearance. Since the a.w.e isn't being monitored anymore it's going out of control until alan wake fixed it

Nonsense. The FBC was originally supposed to be a part of the Alan Wake universe and they hinted towards it both in the comics as well as This House of Dreams. They later decided to spin it into its own franchise.
