We used your video to setup a button to work on an IPad. The XKey interface uses a software program called MacroWorks. This program is needed to setup the XKey and the setup is not covered in the video which was frustrating. Here is what you need to do: 1. Find and install MacroWorks. The link is supplied in the instructions that come with the item. 2. Plugin the XKey and start the software program. Hopefully, MacroWorks will find the XKey device. If not, reboot your PC and try again. 3. Select Hardware programming rather than software. MacroWorks will write the program on the firmware that is inside the XKey. 4. Tap the button so that MacroWorks can identify which switch is being used. (Switch 1, 2 , or 3), 5. The program will come back with a dialog asking what character(s) needs to be sent to the computer. (Or IPad, IPhone). Press the "1" key and then close the dialog. The program records every keystroke so you don't want to press any other key. 6. Write the code to the XKey dongle and close the program. Your XKey should now work as expected. If you need help, contact the XKey help via email and they will reach out to you. I was very pleased with their support and we are very happy with the product overall.
