As someone who's filmed over 800 videos using my iPhone this is genius! I've been using the front facing camera but always preferred the rear camera.
@nolanmolt3 жыл бұрын
Awesome, hopefully this helps!
@tangoingthekitchen3 жыл бұрын
I been using both, but it take me almost double of time when I used the rear camera because I want to make sure that there are not any weird stuff, so Stop the recording, check the recording and try again, one of the reason that I am in the hunt for a Camera with a flip screen, but I just figure out how to do this, took me 30 minutes to connect the iphone to my TV, but glad that I was able to figure out this out today, I am still trying to figure out how to connect to the laptop. Also might need to use the mirror one too when I start doing Vlogging Style videos.

What do you recommend, that is the least complicated...and the easiest to use...to remotely start phone video...right now I touch button on Smartphone and then need to position myself. I will be using InShot to edit and I know I can edit out whatever but I would love to be in position and then simply start. Thank you for your help.

This is a great video! However...riddle me this, because even the techs at Apple couldn't get their heads around it, they noticed the same issue. Where do you look on the phone, using the back camer in order to create content where you are speaking directly to your audience? I have an IIphone 11 and the closest i have come is looking at the right side camera, but its still "off" it doesn't look like i am making direct eye contact with my audience, any thoughts? thank you so much

Thank you so much, this helped me a ton! I had no clue. About to go all out and start my channel. You just saved me a ton of time in trying to figure out why the videos were looking washed from the phone. the fixes I saw were not that hard and time-consuming but they are extra and unnecessary steps not needed in my humble beginnings. I just want to get my content out there.

Hi thanks for this. So when I use the iPhone/Mac method, the camera won't go landscape (if I hold camera in landscape orientation the computer still shows portrait, but sideways). I'm using iPhone 12 Mini + Macbook Air M2. Maybe there is something missing or my iPhone is just too old? Thanks. =)
@TiaMariaWigCoach3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Question: with the iPhone to monitor option. You said you need to plug in the iPhone power cord to the adapter. I currently use a microphone that I plug into my iPhone. Can I plug that into the adapter or does it have to be the power cord? If so, how do I plug in my mic? 😬
@nolanmolt3 жыл бұрын
You need a power cord into the adapter.. So you'd need to choose one or the other. Another option is picking up a external audio recorder for about $100 you can get the Zoom H1, and then record your audio onto that. Once you edit, you just need to sync the audio to the video!
