The vibrational state is the experience of strong vibrations in the body, which are often associated with relaxation and increase of the frequency of one's energy body. The strongest association of the vibrational state, however, is with the out-of-body experience (astral projection), which is the phenomenon that brought attention to the vibrational state.
I have dedicated 15 years to study the vibrational and research about the methods to produce it. The main method for the vibrational state is VELO, which I explain in details in in my book and in some of my videos. Take a look below for more.

I've had 3 vibrational experiences since May 2023. I'm 47 and have never experienced this before. The first time I lightly woke up in my bed and thought about hearing sounds. All of a sudden, I heard banging sounds in my kitchen. It sounded like pots and pans banging or moving around in the cabinets. It really freaked me out. At that time, I had never even heard of astral projection. The banging sounds lasted about 5 or 6 seconds and I was scared, but my husband didn't wake and my dog didn't bark. I figured I must be dreaming, but it couldn't be because I swear I was completely awake or aware of what was happening and this was my real bedroom, not some strange dream room or location that I normally dream about. After a few seconds, my right hip and leg started to vibrate really hard. It was hurting me and I couldn't really move and I guess I went back to sleep. I woke up freaked out because it felt so real. I started researching what this could be and learned about astral projection. A month later, it happened again, but I had learned more about this and was able to handle it better if it happened again. I woke up and was expecting to hear sounds. I was a little scared to listen, but I allowed it and then I heard it again for about 5 seconds. Then I started to vibrate, except this time it was my entire body. It was a much lighter vibration and didn't hurt at all, so I wanted to see what I could do with this, so I started thinking about my mother who passed away in 2020. I was hoping to see her and talk with her. Instead I ended up talking to my grandmother who died almost 18 years ago. I hadn't thought about her in years, but she was super happy. I didn't see her. I was talking with her on some sort of weird phone that I created out of a piece of paper (this seemed kind of like a strange dream). At first I didn't know who was talking to me. Her voice was very young but she definitely knew me. As I started to think about who it could be, the voice turned into an older woman and I recognized the voice as my grandmother. I was so happy to talk to her. She told me she loved me and missed me and that she loved my two boys so much even though she had never met them. The only time she saw my oldest son was when he was 3 weeks old. Then it stopped and I was laying in my bed and looked at the clock to see the time and went to sleep. This was also very real to me. Last night it happened again. I lightly woke up and waited to hear the strange sounds. I heard it again but tried to not be scared. The body vibrations started again and this time I wanted out of my body, so I tried reaching up with my hand and failed, so I tried to sit up and I popped out and went straight up to the ceiling very fast but I was like a helium balloon. I had a hard time turning around to look down at my bed, but eventually did. I did not see my body which really surprised me and I thought maybe I did something wrong, but I could see my husband laying in bed. I tried to wake him. I sat on him and tried to lift him to a sitting position, but we wouldn't wake up. My arms looked possibly transparent and I had a hard time using them. I went to my window to look outside and the sky looked like the sun was getting ready to rise. There was a very tiny bit of light and I knew I probably had to get up soon because today was the first day of school. As soon as I thought about the time, I was back in my bed trying to see the clock on my night stand. Then I saw this very creepy black shadow type thing that looked like moving tree branches and the branches were reaching for me. It scared me and I turned my head as I was telepathically telling it to go away and then I closed my eyes. I immediately opened my eyes again and it was gone and everything stopped. I knew I was now completely awake. So I'm excited that I was able to get out, but I still don't know if this was a dream or not. My phone app showed that I was talking in my sleep at 12:40am. When I looked at the clock after waking, it was 12:49am. It's very strange. I honestly don't think these were dreams because they all start out the exact same. I hear sounds and vibrate. I've never had the same dream before in my life and they all seemed so real to me. I new to all of this, but I find it interesting that I experienced the sounds and vibrations before I ever knew anything about astral projection. A lot of people seem to vibrate as well so I'm not alone in this at all which is comforting.

Thank you Nanci, I recently had a spontaneous leaving of my body. I actually had dense vibrations running through parts of my body for a couple nights (in bed) before the third night when I think I left my body. Like you mentioned, I didn’t get excited, I didn’t get anxious, I went with the flow…eventually after some intense, electric, shunting, verging on almost painful vibrations I slowly rolled out onto the floor. All very strange when one didn’t even mean to do it 😆. Following you with interest. 🙏

I achieved the vibrational stage early this morning and heard a loud whooshing sound. I got so excited at the prospect of leaving my body that I woke myself out of it a few times. I can’t wait to apply your advice about just relaxing and exploring this stage and its subtleties.

Very useful Nanci, thanks. This afternoon, during a nap, I was nearly waking up, and I could feel a vibration in my hips to my feet, at first without noticing it. And then I remember your video, so I took my time, to observe, and also to enjoy it ! I'm so happy, may be I'm progressing...

Thank you, Nanci, for another great video. I simply love VELO. Indeed it's the only thing that really worked for me. Only when I started focusing on VELO I was able to AP.

Just practice remaining conscious as your body falls asleep. The knack to remaining conscious as the body falls asleep is to practice pure observation. Do not even think, for thinking will engage the brain and keep you from consciously disconnecting. Just observe. There are several little tricks to include but if you are observant and you practice then you will discover those tricks along the way. When you have learned to remain conscious through the falling asleep process then you will find leaving the body is quite easy. You must also be conscious when you are awake throughout the day, always aware of your observant freewilled consciousness, so that you know what you are maintaining as the body falls asleep. You cannot walk around semi conscious all day and expect to be able to consciously leave your body when the body sleeps. There is another way of leaving the body and that is during meditation/prayer and that is different to leaving the body during sleep. But the sleep one is the easiest for most people to accomplish.

@@MaxDooDat2 No, because they are all secondary to the primary task of maintaining observation. When I tell people particular bodily positions and breathing methods that assist the process, then people tend to make those positions and breathing methods their primary effort, and that defeats the whole process. Better to focus on the essential art of maintaining pure observation without any mental reaction to what is observed, and let that disengage you from the body, then you will naturally notice the positioning and breathing that helps facilitate the process. Hi all, Ive been meditating in the past for hours each day to ready my self for a out of body experience, although ive managed to easily achive it since, now am too scared to let go as its so intense and rough. I fees like am some rocket engine about to accelerate to the speed of light or something, its really scary, I end up fighting out of it and have 50% chance of ending up in paralisis that is also scary. The vibretional state comes by it self very often too without me trying anything when am in bed trying to sleep. I have aslo this very quiet buzzing sound in the backround whenever am in a quiet place that if I focuse on it, it increases in volume and intensety and ends up to the vibrational state as terrifying as if I would have tried to reache it my self. Any tips of how to manage this ? I know its normal and part of the proccess, but the fear wont let me as it feels like if I dont do something to end I might not survive the vibrations. (thats how intense they are!) Thanks and what a great video!

I've been trying to project, but, whenever I start vibrating, my left foot starts moving and I can't do it. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

Can we get the vibrational state in our waking life? In one of your videos you mentioned a guy who could detached at will in his waking life, He was working in race cars.

Yes Moni. The VS can happen in our regular waking life. It is more rare, though, and usually happens spontaneously.

Nanci, how did you discover the vibrational state? Was it by accident or was it knowledge that someone had shared with you at some point?

Hi Germain. I experienced the VS spontaneously in my childhood and teens. I didn't know the name or what it was. Then I started hearing people talk about it in relation to the OBE. That's when I became interested in studying more about it ;-)

Why does my whole “astral body” rotate back and forth in different directions when I relax and start feeling tingling is that the vibration or somethin else

No, that is not the vibrational state. That is just a loosening or swaying sensation associated with relaxation while lying down or with drifting near to sleep. The vibrational state is not unnoticeable, it is truly vibrant and energising. Do not seek it, though. It will not come if you seek it, because it is a process that revitalises the body while you are asleep. So your consciousness must _not_ be engaged in thinking activity but must be very still, not thinking, just observing. Then the vibrational process will commence because the body and mind are quiet as if you are asleep. After you have learned to be conscious during the vibrational state then leaving the body will be easier from there.
