Thoughts on ancientwisemon? Opponent turn play a mon that could now block

I definitely wouldn't recommend it, it costs 5 to go into and it does nothing until your opponent attacks. By that time they can easily remove the stack and then you have nothing to show for it.

How do the aces actually hold up in matchups, Overflow kind sucks atm.

Overflow will always suck, but sometimes you have trouble finding Nene and you usually pass the turn by going into Dark Knight, so the WarGrey ACE acts as a blocker that they cannot prepare for as the opponent does all of their effects first.

JumboGamemon is definitely something that could work, but personally I think it's too slow. The problem with DK is that you're already passing the turn (most of the time) with playing a DK, so with JumboGamemon you'll be passing the turn again, when you'd rather play another DK, search or go into DKX for a huge swing. JumboGamemon also costs 5 to go into, which is... painful to say the least.

All very valid points. My thoughts with it is if say one dk sticks and you sacrifice a turn for it, it's possible to give jumbo +1k or reboot, tand that following turn you have a dk to possibly be resummoned for a repeated dedigivolve and delte effect possibly? Not a main but a tech?

Definitely feels like more of a tech, giving your opponent the choice of having the JumboGamemon trigger doesn't help. It obviously looks great on paper, playing a free DK, de-digivolve or play a huge stack, but theres more removal in the format now & the cost of 5 kills it. If jumbo cost 3 to go into, or if WarGrey ACE didn't exist, I could see it being played more. But hey, might be a good idea to test it out, think i'll try it at some point!

Yea tried it in locals last night, I just switched out a couple of cards for it but had a test build already so went o-x xD lol a first for my darknightmon.
